"We had an amazing stay at Quinta Pereira, which is beautifully positioned in a peaceful spot commanding amazing views of the coastline. The property has multiple areas to sit in the gardens and enjoy the views and offers lots of different ways to keep guests entertained, from pool and table football through to the piano (a very welcome surprise), board games and even an XBOX (latest model, which our 17yo managed to leave alone for once, thrashing us at table football instead!). A hire car is essential as the area's very hilly and we'd recommend a small car or an SUV - our saloon estate was too long and low to clear the bump at the gate and park on the drive - but Wendy was only too happy for us to use the parking space by the road.Walking the levadas and a trip to the lava pools of Porto Moniz were real highlights, as were the Sunshine Pub & Grill and Restaurante O Forno.Wendy was a really responsive host and we'd have no hesitation in returning to this tranquil spot, or recommending to others."

"The villa is beautiful, spotlessly clean, well equipped and the provisions of the basics (wine, milk, charcoal, loo roll, salt, pepper and bin liners) make the first eve/morn stress free if arriving late in the evening like we did. Bill was brilliant on communication and anything if I needed it would have been dealt with brilliantly. The views are simply stunning from the infinity pool/patio and weather permitting the sun set is breathtaking, be aware that mornings up in villa can be windy and rainy but a short drive to Calheta you’ll soon have the sun on your face! The only downside for me (but is a personal preference) was I love to relax in the sun when not exploring and the sun loungers were not comfortable at all, but maybe thats because I have bad back and couldn’t get comfortable. Otherwise, this villa is for sure your next stop to exploring a beautiful Island with stunning views in the mountains! Thank you Bill x"

"Maison très confortable, dont le point fort est sa terrasse qui domine l’océan et qui accueille une jolie petite piscine (6x2,5m) très agréable. La localisation très à l’ouest permet de visiter cette partie de l’île moins connue. Séjour parfait !"

"Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt und können diese Ferienwohnung uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.Die Wohnung war genauso wie auf den Bildern und in der Beschreibung, sauber und bestens ausgestattet. Besonders gefreut hat uns, dass bereits viele Gewürze sowie weitere nützliche Dinge vorhanden waren.Irina war unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und jederzeit erreichbar. Man hat sich wirklich willkommen und gut aufgehoben gefühlt.Ein besonderes Highlight für uns waren ihre Hunde, sie haben unseren Aufenthalt noch schöner gemacht.Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist außerdem ideal, um den westlichen Teil Madeiras zu erkunden.Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!"

"This villa is just sublime! Beautiful villa, absolutely gorgeous location, well stocked kitchen, communication with Rui was excellent with very prompt responses. There was nothing at all to dislike. If you like privacy and seclusion, with fantastic views, then this is the villa for you.Short drive (15 mins) to a few supermarkets. Jardim do Mar is a village only a short drive away well worth going to see.Nothing negative to say at all about this villa, location, host, etc. Just superb!"
