"Lovely clean well kept hotel"

"Lovely hotel near the rail station and cruise ports, really friendly staff, & nice breakfast"

"We stayed here for one night before going on a cruise from Southampton. It was a perfect place to stay for 1 or 2 nights and we would book it again if we cruised from Southampton again. The accommodation is situated in small chalet like buildings in the beautiful grounds of the main house. The rooms are clean and modern with everything you need for a short stay. There were no drawers in the room (only a wardrobe) but as we were only staying 1 night and not wanting to unpack, this was absolutely fine for us. There us no mini fridge. Thus would have been useful for our water and a few cild drinks we had but, again, not essential for 1 night. Breakfast is served in rhe main house in a beautiful restaurant which serves dinner on an evening and there is also a lovely cosy bar in the main house which serves bar meals. The gounds are lovely with a walking trail around the edges through the woods. The staff were lovely and friendly and very helpful. This is the perfect overnight stay if you want a more luxurious country house environment and surroundings but with cheaper "Travelodge" prices (rooms are well priced as they are not in the main house). We would book again and may book w nights next time to explore the surrounding area. "
