"The Tadpole gave me everything and more I expected when I booked. Consequently within 24 hours of arriving I booked an extra week. I entertained my daughter, I worked, but most importantly I slept like a baby in this comfortable, quiet, woods surrounded cottage. It is actually a converted 'large' double garage but you'd never know. Heating system is perfect and easy to use. The kitchen is fully equipped to cook and dine at 'home' or take a 7 minute walk to one of the most enchanting and oldest pubs in the the south of England. Walk into the hangers close by, and later take a short drive to town and enjoy the famous old market town of Petersfield. Solo or party of two, you'd be hard pushed to find a better pad in this beautiful area in the South of England. Rachel is a great host and responded within minutes."

"The owners were very helpful and said they were there for us if we needed anything. Perhaps the lighting could be better for reading and over work surfaces, but this could be due to the time of year we were there. There was plenty of parking. Our two dogs settled in well and the owners dogs were friendly. Nice walks nearby. Perhaps if future visitors decide to use the local Tesco supermarket in Petersfield, you need to pay and display if you’re using the car park, which can be claimed back if you spend over a certain amount."

"We stayed at the Old Stable Cottage as a base for the Goodwood Revival meeting and it proved ideal. A scenic country drive to the racetrack was only half an hour away. The cottage is very spacious, a large bedroom upstairs with an ensuite bathroom, while downstairs there is a large well equipped lounge and dining area. There’s another toilet on the ground level with a small kitchen and a conservatory. Our host Lucy provided us with excellent supplies for our first breakfast, everything was very clean, and all communications were first rate. A highly recommended venue, we’d love to stay here again."

"The house was beautiful, exactly as shown in the photographs. Kitchen had everything you needed if you wanted to cook a meal. Modern appliances were a bonus. Two bedrooms plus two bathrooms upstairs and a toilet downstairs.Centrally located, walking distance into Petersfield with all the shops and a market Wednesday and Saturday. Walking distance to the railway station.Would definitely stay again."

"We had a fabulous stay at Taylors Copse. We received a wonderfully warm welcome from the owners and a lovely little stock of essentials in the fridge. The cottage was very well equipped and thoughtfully decorated, so we felt very at home. We loved the huge garden space and being able to see the horses, chickens and even a couple of deer. It was a lovely private space, but Philip and Penny were on hand in case of any questions. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back!"

"This property is amazing, and has set a standard that will be hard for us to find again, where do I begin. The apartment is beautifully styled, the kitchen is so well equipped and has washer/dryer, plus there were plenty of spare towels and sheets if needed for our week long stay. We were there in July during hot weather, the location is quiet to have windows open at night and there are a couple of fans to make sure you’re comfortable to sleep. The kitchen was so well stocked with supplies we were spoilt for choice with bread, cheese, eggs, juice, the list goes on. They were very responsive with messages, and made sure we’d received all the info before we arrived. They were also so kind to arrange early check in for us, which after travelling 24 hours from Australia we were very grateful for. Plus they added some small touches for my daughter so she felt welcome too. Location is great - can walk to supermarkets and shops, as well as the train station. No parking onsite but we had no issues finding parking nearby thanks to Penny’s great notes provided prior to the stay. A great option if you’re looking for accommodation for events at Goodwood - we drove and did the train both options easy from here."
