"I enjoy going to the Outer Banks off season when it's a bit cooler and there are a lot less people. We wanted to be able to have a house close to the beach that also provided some privacy and we wanted a hot tub. In addition, we require a full kitchen because my son has allergies so we can't go to restaurants. I have to cook all of our meals.This was a lovely home. We were able to spend some wonderful time as a family. We were close enough to some of the attractions to be able to go to the aquarium, jockey's ridge, and the wright brothers. There are so several yarn stores in the area which is nice for my daughter and I. The kitchen is well stocked. It had enough pots and pans, cookie sheets and other items so we were able to make our desired meals. All in all we had a delightful time and are even looking at staying here again next year."

"We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property! We loved the outdoor spaces, especially for our kids and dogs to run around and play. We were fortunate to have great weather in December, which allowed us to take full advantage of the kayaks right off the dock—what a treat! The house was well-equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry, making our stay comfortable and convenient. With plenty of room for all 10 of us, we felt right at home. The location was also fantastic, adding to the overall experience. We can't wait to return!"

"We stayed 12 nights at the Surfin C Gull. Upon arrival, the Front Door Lock and Entry Code worked perfectly... a first for us. We looked around and found the house was very clean and the appliances were new. The king bed mattresses were very firm... a little too much for me, but good for my wife. The big screen Sharp/Roku TV in the living room worked well; we were able to cast our DirecTV app's output to it without problem. We found we were short of bath towels; I texted our host Leslie and she responded right away. The upper deck was great for sunning ourselves and enjoying the fantastic ocean views. House is located in a quiet neighborhood, mere yards from the beach. PROs: very clean, new appliances, firm mattresses, great location, great ocean views, communications with Leslie were easy with quick responses! CONs: rooms are a little smaller than they appear in the photos, laundry area can only be reached by going outside and down the stairs. All-in-all an awesome experience at the beach! "

"Nice, comfortable, roomy home with a great view of the ocean from the living area. Kitchen was well-equipped, there was enough space for 6 adults to eat together, lounge, play cards or chat in smaller groups. Located conveniently to activities, stores and attractions while still feeling like we were close to the ocean. Owners were very helpful and responsive to questions. We would definitely come back!"

"My family and I stayed here this past week and would definitely recommend this property. It is so peaceful and private. We loved that it is close to everything too, but away from the crowds. The house was clean and spacious and the owners were very responsive. They provided so much information ahead of time which was helpful. We hope to come back in the future!"

"Right on the beach nice area, very dog friendly. Pool was convenient and we had it to ourselves several mornings. Sand is a presence as was mentioned in part of the booking. I personally loved the screen porch, my 14 year old niece liked the crow’s nest porch up top. Easy drive to food and shopping. Wish I was still there "

"This was the cutest room. I was getting married and used this as our getting ready space and it was perfect. It also has the most romantic little outdoor bathroom."
