This is a family run hotel which is high quality and really a gem! Very friendly, great food, clean and also a "locals" hangout. Many German's come to enjoy the quiet boutique atmosphere that is Hotel Kunz.

A warm welcome at a lovely hotel
We often travel between the UK and Austria so Pirmasens is a convenient stopover point. We have stayed in the area many times but this is the first time we have stayed at the Kunz. We will definitely be very happy to book again. We received a very friendly greeting at reception and were provided with an extremely clean, comfortable and modern room. We ate in the restaurant which offered a varied menu, beautifully prepared and presented and reasonably priced. The restaurant staff both at dinner and breakfast were very helpful and efficient. They seemed genuinely interested in their customers. We didn't get around to using the wellness facilities but we did go to have a look - all very inviting including the small swimming pool.

The room was great and for the value very nice. The pillows there are a little too airy for me, but otherwise the room is very nice. The restaurant in the hotel was nice and offered a very nice selection of fancy food and wine. There was not much else in the town though so many people every night came to the restaurant making parking a little bit more difficult. Luckily with ample street parking, parking in the hotel lot was only an problem at night, but spots not the street could be easily found. A pool and/or hot tub wold significantly make the hotel more attractive.

Fabulous stay in fabulous hotel
Fabulous find, can't fault hotel. Used when travelling back from the Italian Lakes. Would definitely recommend it if in the area. Excellent value. Food great too.

nice break for seasoned traveller
hotel relaxed me after a long drive - I was travelling across Europe Italy to England which I do often. When I arrived I had a massage waiting for me and I then relaxed right the way through to a lovely meal (gluten free too) and a comfortable night's sleep.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Es werden wohl für Gäste im Restauraunt Plätze freigehalten. Über die Rezeption konnten wir noch einen Tisch reservieren (Online nicht mehr). Essen im Restaurant war sehr gut und die Weinempfehlung zum Essen hat sehr gut gepasst. Für ein entspannendes Wochenende bei dem man auch etwas Wandern will, sehr zu empfehlen.

Ein sehr freundlicher Empfang und überaus freundliches Personal hat uns die Wünsche erfüllt die wir hatten. Vegetarische Angebote und ausgewählte sehr gute Speisen waren excellent. Das Zimmer großzügig und mit einer modernen Badausstattung. Fruehstuecksangebot ebenfalls sehr gut. Alles in allem ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Ich bin sehr viel in Hotels unterwegs, aber so was nettes und familiäres innerhalb der ganzen Belegschaft ist schon einzigartig...die Chefin sagte die absolut wahren Worte 'da steht doch Kunz auf dem Hotelschild, dann muss/ sollte auch Kunz drin sein'. Das ist absolut der Fall. Das Hotel war überbucht,was nicht schlimm war, denn es wurde Alles mögliche getan um uns zufrieden zu stellen. Wir kommen gerne wieder und empfehlen jedem dieses Hotel kennenzulernen und dort zu buchen

One-night business stay
I stayed already several times in this hotel. Maybe I got an older room this time, which didn't satisfy me as usual. As a summary I can say that it is always an enjoyable stay, especially the restaurant is excellent. Whether it's a 4-star hotel? I would have rated it rather a 3-star hotel with regard to this most recent stay.

Die Servicekraft im Restaurant, Chef de Rang, behandelte uns so geringschätzig und "von oben herab", dass man froh sein musste in der "Nr. 1 der Region" von ihr bedient zu werden. Vielleicht lag es daran, dass wir keine Vorspeise wollten und das erfuhren sogleich alle Gäste von ihr in einer Lautstärke, dass sie sich nach uns umdrehten: "Keine Vorspeise?!! BEIDE?!!" Auch beim Verlassen des Restaurants kein Blickkontakt oder Gruß. So was haben wir noch nicht erlebt und wir verkehren regelmäßig in Restaurants dieser Kategorie. Wir haben daraufhin das Restaurant in den nächsten Tagen gemieden. In der Bar waren die Sitzplätze regelmäßig "reserviert", das haben wir in einer Bar so auch noch nicht kennengelernt. Sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit waren hingegen die Damen an der Rezeption!

Hervorragende Gsstlichleit und Service
Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Sehr freundliche Mitsrbeiterinnen, sauberes und grosses Zimmer, sehr gutes Frühstück, Ladestation für unseren vollelektrischen VW ID. Essen und Ambiente im Restaurant waren perfekt.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt
Ein sehr familiär geführtes Hotel, dass keine Wünsche offen lässt. Zimmer sauber und geräumig, Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus und ausreichend gut sortiertes Frühstück. Chef kommt abends selber herum und fragt wie das Essen geschmeckt hat, das hat Man nur noch selten.

Very friendly people, everything we needed was foreseen. Beware surrounding are not very pretty, staff understands but barely speaks English, rooms are spacious and have everything but design is vintage.

Kiva hotelli uima-altaalla ja saunalla
Pitkän työpäivän jälkeen oli erityisen mukavaa pulahtaa altaaseen ja käydä kunnon Suomalaistyyppisessä saunassa. Hotelli oli siisti ja hyvätasoinen - erinomainen valinta työmatkalle.

Schönes Hotel zum Entspannen.
Ein Hotel sehr geeignet für ein paar Tage zum Entspannen. Sehr gutes Essen (Am besten Tisch reservieren). Kleiner aber sauberer und schöner Wellnessbereich.

Hotel ist modern und neu...die einfachen Zimmer ausreichend für ein verlängertes Wochenende...der Wellnessbereich schön, nur die Ruhe im Ruheraum ist nicht gegeben, gerade bei Besuchergruppen...Frühstück gute Auswahl und schmackhaft...die Bar gepflegt und guter Service...

Klasse Hotel für Wanderwoche im Pfälzer Wald
Wir machten Wanderwoche im Pfälzer Wald. Waren abends nach Wandern noch im Schwimmbad und im Dampfbad. Wirklich klasse. Ist allerdings ein Businesshotel. kein Landhotel.

Sehr angenehmes Hotel
Habe 3 Nächte dort verbracht und mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Besonders die Terrasse und auch die Bar luden zum Verweilen ein. Hervorzuheben ist die Raucherlaubnis in der Bar !!!! Klasse !!!
