"The pre arrival procedures and correspondence from the owner were excellent. Our arrival at the property was very smooth. Michelle (The Property Management contact) was there on time to meet and greet us and explain everything we needed to know. Unfortunately a couple of days into our stay we experienced a very heavy storm which affected the whole area's water supply for about 10 days (basically we couldn't use the water to shower, cook, wash clothes etc). During this period the support we received from the owner via emails was very good, but Michelle in particular was outstanding - bringing us fresh towels and even offering to let her use her house to shower!The apartment itself is overall very good and well equipped. The beds were comfortable and the shower rooms very good. We particularly enjoyed the roof terrace, which covers a large area. There were plenty of sun beds and seating areas. One thing I would say though is maybe the sun bed cushions have seen better days and could do with replacing . Also, there is no hot tub or sea view - which are listed as apartment amenities.We had a problem with the washing machine, but the owner and Michelle were very quick to sort this and get it repaired - which as a guest is all you can ask for, we do understand that occasionally things break down.To get to the pool you have to exit the apartment and walk on the street around the corner of the complex and access is via a locked door.Overall we enjoyed our stay."

"I would be wary of this hotel. The hotel location is great and the rooms were basic but clean with a nice breakfast. Unfortunately when we arrived we were charged for the room, it was not until i checked we realusee we had paid via hotels.com when we did the original booking we told the hotel staff this and they assured us we wiuld get the money refunded. This never happened and we had to go via hotels com and eventually received the refund from the. Not ideal."

"Everything was great apart from the bed and bedding, plastic undersheet really uncomfortable,and bedding not good quality, which caused lack of sleep 😴 "

"A group of 4 friends. The photos make the villa look a lot bigger. Not sure it would suit 10 adults. One downstairs WC (tiny) with separate double shower room. Upstairs is 1 main bathroom and 1 small shower room & WC. The pool area is lovely. Villa was spotless and well presented. Mattresses are very comfortable. Plenty of towels. They really need to provide a welcome pack (water at least) for late arrivals. The area is very desolate. 15 min walk to nearest beach/town. No nearby shops and no views around the villa. Car required. "

"This is a fantastic villa and Marie is an outstanding host - her communication throughout the booking process and our stay was excellent.Marie and her husband met us at the villa on our arrival, talked us through everything and showed us around. It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped, with a few nice welcome touches too!It is very comfortable, with effective air conditioning and large ceiling fans, which were great for getting ready and sleeping...as it was very warm during our stay.The neighbourhood is very quiet and residential, so just perfect for lounging by the pool with a good book or having a snooze in the sun.It's a flat, easy walk to nearby restaurants and shops, also the lovely promenade overlooking the Mar Menor - we had a rental car that hardly moved as everything was so handy.In conclusion, I would thoroughly recommend booking this lovely villa - a lot of thought and hard work has gone into it and Marie fully deserves the many glowing reviews from previous renters.Thanks again for everything, we'll hopefully be back sometime soon!"

"Fantastic from start to finish. Communication with Marie was great, we were even able to get into the villa a little bit earlier. The villa was spotlessly clean and had some brilliant little touches such as dishwasher tablets, washing pods & conditioner, hand soap and a little welcome pack in the fridge. The pool area was excellent with plenty room to spread out and the gas grill plate was well used, so much better than a barbeque (and easier to clean!!). its unusual to get such a large Villa within walking distance of all shops, bars and also the sea. Marie gave us some tips on places to eat and things to do, a truly wonderful host. We discovered Santiago De La Ribera in June when we were staying in Los Alcazares and having found this beautiful villa we will definitely stay here again. We have stayed in mant Villas and apartments all over Spain and this is by far the best one we have ever stayed in, thank you Marie for letting us have your fantastic Villa"
