The Expedia listing shows 14 restaurants and 13 bars, but for the average visitors, you only have access to half that. And the resort pool is nice, but also only have access to half the resort. The resort is dated, its almost 50 years old, and needs improvement. The ac in our room was on 24 hours, and barely kept the room almost comfortable. At night, the air flow from ac was very minimal, almost no circulation of the air. The bathroom in our room, the door to entyr was blocking access. And the tub ledge was dangerous, trying to get in and out of tub was hard. The ledge was about 20 - 24" high, and about 6 - 8" wide, and made tub was slippery. Very hard to get in and out of tub. The elevators were hot, no airflow or ac in them. The hallways thru building was warm. The main lobby in pyramid was warm, and even the employees in the main entry were hot. They try to sell you a membership, and tell you there are 22 restaurants and bars, but only available if you buy the club package. We have been to several resorts in Cancun, and this so far was the worst. We went because we are looking for a place to take family and grandkids next summer and I thought with all the restaurants and bars, would be a good choice. But definitely not. Other couples we talked with said the same.
