"it was dirty, I didn’t want to stay because of how some areas were incredibly dirty and most of the appliances were dusty. On top of that, it smelled and it seemed like the owner just had air fresheners everywhere to cover up the musty smell "

"I didn't receive check-in information until i was leaving home for the airport, not helpful. The complex does not have a swimming pool, though hotels-com says it does. There is a small area to sit next to a large heated spa pool, but my fob never worked on the door to the area, despite numerous complaints. I was allocated an apartment on the ground floor with windows on one side only, looking over a walk way straight at another block or apartments. No direct sunlight, so the apartment was dingy...

"Owner cancelled the reservation 2 hours before we were to check in. Memorial Day weekend in Oakland, CA. VRBO customer service did not help us rebook, and have promised to refund our payment - haven't seen it yet. "

"We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Santa Clara. It was very comfortable and suited our needs perfectly. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee and tea, the beds were comfortable, and the laundry came in handy. The welcome package(s) were a nice touch too and a great surprise! The neighborhood is nice, but it was also nice that access to the building is secure. The owners kept us well informed via email with necessary instructions. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to...
