"I love the location and is perfect for what I need to do when in California. I especially Love the breakfast that is served there , it helps me get my day off to a great start. I would like to see it open from 10 am each day instead of just weekends. The staff on every level was great and very helpful and courteous. I really enjoy my stays there."

"I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels, but The Ameswell Hotel in Mountain View, CA genuinely caught me off guard — in the best possible way. From the moment I walked into my room, I could tell this wasn’t your average hotel experience. The Rooms: Let’s start with cleanliness, because the Ameswell absolutely nails it. The room wasn’t just clean — it was immaculate. You know that feeling when you walk into a space and the air itself feels fresh? That’s real here. You can tell they’ve invested in a state-of-the-art air filtration system, because the air quality is noticeably crisp and pure. No stale hotel smell, no stuffiness — just clean, breathable air from the second you open the door. The Beds: I don’t say this lightly — sleeping in that bed was like floating on a cloud. The mattress, the pillows, the linens — everything about it felt intentional and luxurious. I genuinely had to drag myself out of bed in the morning, and I’m not a late sleeper. The Convenience Factor: This is where the Ameswell really shows it understands its guests. The café is fantastic for a quality sit-down bite, but what I especially loved was the snack bar with the touch screen point-of-sale system. Midnight craving? Early morning flight prep? No prob Grabbing snacks 24 hours a day without having to track down a staff member or leave the property is a game changer. It’s a small touch that makes a huge difference. The Ameswell isn’t just a place to sleep — it’s a place to recharge."

"Got to the property early to check in, no rooms were available. Left bags with front desk. Attempted to check in again 15 minutes prior to normal check in time as we had an event to attend. There were still no rooms available. James the front desk employee was unapologetic and did not seem to care that we were being inconvenienced. James said rooms would not be available until past check in time due to full occupancy the night prior. We initially planned getting an uber to our event but because we were unable to check into our room we ended up having to take back our bags and drive to the event. This caused us to have to get ready at the event site. Upon our return to the hotel there was only one working valet and traffic was backed up onto North Main Street. Although the valet gentleman was pleasant and apologetic it was absolute chaos. In addition to this our room was not held even though we made multiple attempts to check in. Therefore, we were placed in what was said to be “the last ‘king’ room available.” This room was not only the smallest and most awkwardly decorated room, the bed size was a queen! Further attempts to get a king room were met with inexcusable justifications from the night crew. In addition to the inhospitable customer service and terrible room, the hotel bar and restaurant were closed! During weekends, there is absolutely no excuse to have your bar/restaurant closed for a majority of the day. All in all, 0/10. Improvements need to be made."
