"No person on site but it was needed. Was a short walk to shopping and the wharf. Quintessential New England Seaport. Food options in Rockport weren't great but many within a short drive. Room was good and we enjoyed our time there. Would stay again."

We could not find anyone when trying to get our room or code to get in. and email check in time and texted time were different times. Other then that all good "

"We loved the house. Nicely decorated with an obvious beach feeling. Location is amazing, walking distance to a beautiful, not too crowded beach. We were very confortable with our two grown up teenagers. Kellie was very helpful and responsive. The availability of the bikes island cruisers was a huge plus. Some beach accessories were also provided and it has been much appreciated. The only downside why I do not give a 10/10 is because of a little a desappointment on the cleaning. One single bed has not been setup, dishwasher was not emptied and we felt better by redoing the vacuum cleaner. "

"This was just the right size cottage and the location couldn’t have been better! We had a fairly easy drive up from the Logan International Airport, getting to downtown Newburyport was a breeze, and the little Plum Island store & restaurants were wonderful. The area around Sunny Side was quiet & peaceful. We would book it again!"

"We were looking for a place with 4 rooms that weren't super crowded and had enough places to park and we came across this listing.
It's a bit "Harry Potter" like, in a sense that it has corridors and rooms that connect up and down from different directions and It's very cool. I love that the living room area has a high ceiling and is open to the 2nd floor so you don't feel crowded at all even if everyone is in the same living room.
Before getting there, google map said it would be a 15 minute walk from the cottage to the beach; however, we found that there is a path from the backyard that takes about 5 minutes to get to the beach. Not recommended at night as the tide comes in and the ground is a bit wet but during the day, it's fine.
It has a lot of big windows and doors that you can open so the air circulates well and isnt generally too hot even on a hot day but the rooms can get stuffy especially the two that don't have the AC installed.
The cottage was well maintained and had all the amenities mentionned on the page, except the baby high chair that we couldn't locate but it wasnt the end of the world.
The wifi provided was good, not spotty at all, and the water pressure from the shower was good as well.
Overall, we had a really great time here and we were very happy to discover this new place. The beach is very nice too. It's not overcrowded with tourists like hampton beach so it was very relaxing. The sand is a bit gritty but nothing to fret about. "
