Point Reyes Station Holidays

It is an old motel. Smells musty, stairs not clean. Shower head needs to be changed, not very effective. Fridge was leaking water. Bed skirt was a tripping hazard. Not good if traveling with elderly. I did like the many exits

It’s a very cool hotel, and super convenient to the Pier and wharf. It’s lacking in general room maintenance. Needed updated fixtures (toilet seat was in rough shape, toilet ran constantly, or didn’t fill up at all). Painting was needed, headboard was in super rough shape. Nothing that ruined our stay, just needs a little tlc. But it was clean. We enjoyed our visit. The s’mores box and little gift was a nice touch. Parking lot is really small and very tight. Compact marked spaces were taken up by SUV’s and even Tesla trucks, which was annoying because they made it hard to get in and out of the lot. One thing they need to do better at check in is to make guests aware of where things are, especially how to access the hotel from the parking lot instead of walking down the entrance and exit.

Quiet and convenient location

Great stay at downtown location, walking distance to everything. Breakfast options need improvement, especially for gluten free. Lobby was fantastic with fireplace!

The staff was extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful, especially Pam who gave us a bunch of recommendations for local spots to check out. Rooms were clean and very large. Didn’t get a chance to use the fitness center and/or spa area but it was nice to know it was there. The area nearby is nice in most directions. You can end up in a rough part of town if you aren’t sure of where you’re going, but the other directions have plenty of great food and public spaces.
