This 2 bedroom 1 BA townhouse offers a great spot for a quick beach getaway. A short to walk to the gulf and easy drive to Port St Joe or Mexico Beach shopping offers lots of entertainment. The unit is about a block to the beach. Parking for two is available.

The 900 sq foot unit includes 1 queen size bedroom that leads to a back deck and 1 bedroom with two twin size beds. The bathroom is conveniently located to the living room, kitchen and bedrooms.

Meets basic needs for stay
The only issue was lack of internet, which wouldn’t have been a problem if the area had good cellular service, but cell service was poor inside the rental so made it difficult to communicate with family and others without WiFi. Other than that, it met our basic needs.

Quick getaway
Nice spot for a quick getaway in Port St Joe. The unit was exactly as described and a the walk to the beach was very quick and easy. You do have to cross Hwy 98 to get to the beach access path. Also walkable to some food trucks, including Poor Boys, where we got a delicious seafood lunch. The host was very helpful and responsive.

So the unit was close to the beach, as described, We were not pleased with our stay. The listing does say no Internet though it is not highlighted and very easy to overlook. The property has no Internert or Wi-Fi. The TV needs Wi-Fi to work so not only did we not have any Internet we also had no TV. The unit ha had a strong odor to it, that was very noticeable upon entering. The unit was not stocked with toilet paper or garbage bags and the kitchen had no kitchen towels.

Clean place close to the beach but not on a great street
Overall the house inside was exactly as advertised. It was clean, perfect for a small family with plenty of space for a weekend stay. The main downfalls and the reasons it is not 5 stars is as follows. 1) this place is a connected to an identical home that has long term residents so you share a wall with them. Although they were mostly quiet, their multiple cars and personal belongings are all over the driveway and spill out onto their stoop. 2) the neighborhood is a little sketchy, probably not unsafe but looked like the least reputable street in all of the area. 3) there is no wifi which is stated in the description but there is also no cell service so you’re completely disconnected from everything.

Cute, clean, and all we needed. :)
We thought the place was very cute and quaint! It met all of our needs. We hope that our next visit to Mexico Beach will offer more restaurant and shopping options. It's a shame the Hurricane Michael devastated so many businesses. Thank you for a very pleasant stay!

Clean unit!
Small, but very clean unit. Nicely decorated. Just enough room for our family. Short walking distance to the beach, maybe a block. Wish there would’ve been lights and maybe a grill out back so we could’ve utilized the back porch/deck. But overall, great place and friendly owners.
