"Really clean with easy access to the train station. Very walkable and easy to get around town. Very responsive property manager made checking in and out super easy. Would definitely recommend!"
"Amazing property to stay at the location was perfect as the metro station is close by as well as the colosseum being a 15 minute walk overall I recommend this place."
"Everything about this stay was good except I was surprised to find it not to be an actual hotel. Other than that the accommodations were totally modernized. There are a number of places to eat within a block. And reasonably located within walking distance of the Colosseum. "
"I loved the room it was spacious and clean, it also had its own private bathroom; I felt safe in the neighborhood and it was also close to the city center. "
"It was a nice enough stay. I did think the photos on the site made it look a bit nicer than real life, and the bathroom was very small. But the bed was very comfy, and it was clean.
One point of note - i was very grateful i'd packed ear plugs. the traffic noise was quite loud, and on the Saturday night there appeared to be a nightclub in close proximity, which played heavy bass until 2am."
"Very convenient. Literally just down the street from the Train and bus station which made arriving and traveling around very easy. Room is clean and had the amenities we needed. "

"We stayed at the Cross Hotel during a recent visit to Rome, and overall it was a great experience. One of the best things about this hotel is its location, it’s within walking distance to several major sites. In particular, it’s very close to Santa Croce in Gerusalemme, and just a short walk to the stunning Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore, which made it easy to explore some of the city’s most beautiful churches on foot.
The hotel itself is clean, modern, and comfortable. The staff were helpful, and the rooms were well-maintained and quiet which is a nice retreat after a long day of sightseeing.
However, it’s important to mention that the surrounding area can feel a bit dark at night, and there are quite a few homeless people along the way and even directly across the street. While I didn’t have any negative encounters, it’s something to keep in mind, especially if you’re walking back late in the evening.
If you’re looking for a hotel with few amenities and convenient access to some of Rome’s historical churches and landmarks, Cross Hotel is a strong choice, just be aware of the local surroundings after dark."
