We enjoyed our stay from beginning to end. Aside from amazing friendly staff, the he hostel was impeccably clean and the atmosphere was astounding. You can tell they really care about their guests and the experience they have while staying with there. Everyone I met enjoyed their stay as well. I would gladly recommend to anyone and/or stay at Porto Spot again!

Nice stay

Tenía mucho sin quedarme en hostales, pero todo estaba ocupado en la ciudad, así que opté por este porque las recomendaciones eran buenas. El servicio de los chicos de recepción es bueno, son gente cálida y te dan la bienvenida muy chévere, pero como todo hostal, tu experiencia siempre dependerá de los compañeros que te toquen. Lo terrible de mi caso es que me fui infestada de piquetes de bed bugs (ácaros), que estoy terrible en todo el cuerpo. Inicialmente pensé que eran piquetes de mosquito, pero un chico de cuarto fue el que me hizo la observación de que no eran moscos. La verdad es que la estoy pasando fatal. No tienen ascensor y son tres pisos, por si te toca el tercero, tienes que subir con todo y maletas, para que lo tengan en cuenta. Para prender el aire acondicionado del cuarto tenéis que pedir el control en recepción y bajarlo una vez encendido (si te toca en el 3er piso, bueno, ya sabes la subida y bajada cada que necesites prender o apagar el aire). Particularmente el de nuestro cuarto goteaba y nos dijeron que no había nadie de mantenimiento, nos dieron 2 toallas para poner debajo del aire que permanecían húmedas todo el tiempo porque nunca las cambiaban, a pesar de que les pedía toallas nuevas y de que hacían el aseo en la habitación. Creo que a pesar de que yo tuve suerte con mis roomies, porque era todos majos, el tema de los insectos de camas me tiene súper decepcionada, porque sigo arrastrando los malestares y honestamente no le desearía esto a nadie.

Very clean and safe, short walk from airport metro line. 10 minute walk to downtown tourist spots. Close to numerous shops and restaurants. Provided a simple (bread, meat, cheese, fruit) but ample breakfast. Comfortable common area.

The hostel is lovely with a lot of natural light and and a really nice common area with a large kitchen and a beautiful outdoor area, which allows for people to socialise and chat with each other. The staff are all super helpful and extremely friendly, and the room was really nice. I got a free upgrade to a private room because of an issue with overbooking, so this was a really nice gesture from the part of the hostel :) The location is a little bit further away but it is still very nice. I would really recommend for anyone to stay here, I absolutely loved it! <3

Very very nice! The atmosphere, the breakfast, the comfy bed. Everything. Also the spatious shower where u had room to change so u didn’t have to undress with everyone else (yes I’ve seen that in other hostels).

Great hostel. Very clean. Breakfast is correct, one option of vegetal milk. I stayed in a room that look over the road, and did not heard anything. Would definitely go back.

Really good hostel. Everything very clean. Big and comfortable common area as well as a kitchen with a semi-separate dining room. Very good breakfast is provided for free. Some toasts with ham, cheese, jam and even cake is available for breakfast. It's a good hostel to meet new friends. Towel is provided for 2 Euro. To get to more buisy streets need to walk for at least 5 min and more if you want to get to the old town. Really good hostel in overall. It's the best I stayed during my 8 days trip in Portugal.

The room i took was supposed tonhave a double bed. I still have the picture of the room. And it was twin bed Oh and the necklace i bought broke the first time i put it after 10 minutes

This is probably the cleanest hostel I’ve ever stayed in. The facilities are way better than any other hostels all over europe. If you want to relax, this is the place to be.But, if you are a solo traveller who wanted to meet people, I would not recommend this one as the environment, starting with the ataff even if they are nice, do not bring such friendly and fun vibes. You know what I mean if you’ve stayed in other hostels.

The epitome of CLEAN! You have to stay here if you are in Porto. The kitchen and dishes were absolutely the cleanest I’ve seen, even compared to Japan hostels. The sheets are nice and white, the washroom has paper towels, and the cleaners clean the room and remake your bed daily!!! The breakfast was also amazing! Free cappuccinos and sandwiches!!! Very well run boutique hostel! Quick walk from metro.

Porto spot is a great! I really enjoyed everything the hostel offers, staff is super friendly and very knowledge of the area. Building is clean, beds are comfortable (I stayed in a female room), breakfast is ok, bathrooms are clean. If I ever in Porto again I will definitely stay here again. 🙂

Nice Hostel with nice staff. Easy to get around from Hostel. Walking distance to Old Town and close to Metro. Bathrooms could be cleaner, but beds are super comfy. There is currently a water damage issue between the second and first floor with some funky smells in front of hostel due to this I assume. Apart from this it's probably in my Top 20 hostels of all time.

I spent quick night here before flying back home. The hostel is within 5 min walk to a metro station which has many lines, including the the purple to go to/from the airport. It is spacious and clean and beds are extra comfortable with personal light, plug and locker. Common areas are nice and include a computer and free printing. Wi-fi was weak but worked for basic stuff (emails, etc). I would stay here again.

A Hidden Gem in Porto, Portugal
Porto Spot Hostel definitely lived up to its claim to be a well-run, clean, welcoming place to stay. I haven't stayed in many hostels and wasn't sure how comfortable or quiet it would be. My single room was equipped with an especially comfortable bed, well-designed bathroom and a large window that opened onto a small balcony. No TV or coffee/tea maker, but that was OK, because there was tea and coffee and a large flat screen TV available 24/7 in the communal lounge/kitchen area. The free wi-fi worked everywhere. I was most pleased to see that people of all ages and nationalities were enjoying their stay at the hostel and we could all share our travel stories and get to know each other without impinging on each other's space. I'd definitely stay here again, in fact I'd look forward to it.

Very good location
Located in the city center, easy to reach many restaurants and attractions by foot, also close to the metro so it's easy to go to the airport. Staffs are nice and helpful. Clean rooms and nice common area. Blanket is a little thin, not enough when it's cold. Breakfast is good and has many choices, they even provide cake. I wish they have more meats though.

Very nice hostel
The staff was fantastic, making the experience more like a hotel than a hostel. The breakfast was good, lounge areas were nice, and room was clean (+ AC!) highly recommend
