10/10 Stay at The Spa Hotel
Another amazing stay at The Spa Hotel, Ribby Hall. This was our third and probably best visit of all. The spa wasn’t overly busy, and the rain stayed away long enough to really enjoy the outdoor jacuzzis and enjoy a nice cold beer. We stayed on the Aqua Thermal Journey overnight stay with dinner allowance. The food was delicious as you’d expect from a high standard hotel. Breakfast was extremely busy as many people wanted to use their final hour back in the spa the following morning before check out, so there was a bit of a wait. However the food and service more than made up for it! We will no doubt be returning to The Spa Hotel, although maybe try a summer stay over a winter one! 10/10 on every aspect of our stay!

A wonderful Spa break
We had an excellent one night Spa break, everything was first class from the attentive staff in every dept to the wonderful Spa facilities, lovely Deluxe large deluxe room and fantastic dinner and breakfast in the Orangery. We will definitely return again in the future.

Lovely surroundings but spa hotel needs updating. Cobwebs under shower area and in corners of room with spiders. First room we had was over the air conditioning unit system so very noisy, vibration and summing noise. We asked to be moved and we were straight away without question which was excellent.

Had a fab 24hours stay. Sos was amazing the weather was really bad but sat outside with a drink in a hot cabin bliss. Good service couldn’t fault it 💯.

This is such a relaxed place. It’s just what my husband and I needed. The spa was brilliant and I loved the outdoor bar for drinks. The room is big and the bathroom is modern. Food at the evening meal was really nice as were the cocktails. The breakfast menu looks varied too. Staff have been very helpful.

Beautiful hotel, with outstanding cleanliness, high quality service delivered by very professional staff. Would highly recommend as a Spa treat. Relaxed atmosphere with lovely staff. Dinner at the Orangery restaurant was superb, no complaints at all however, breakfast was a real let down. Not very impressed to be honest in the food options. Apart from that, the stay was marvellous

Absolutly fantastic service staff amazing nothing was too much trouble i had to leave at 6am for work so i didnt miss out on breakfast they made a breakfast to go bag and a hot drink waiting at reception for me will definitely be back

Fab venue offering something for every one and the Aqua Thermal experience available at the hotel is amazing. Our first visit back after a number of years holidaying on site when our kids were younger…..Already planning our next visit.

Lovely stay, very restful.
Excellent stay, lovely room, everything seemed good quality. Staff very helpful and polite. Communal areas well maintained. We used the health club pool, that was ok, if not a bit of a walk away. Breakfast was lovely, we didn’t eat there in evening as we had other plans, but restaurant was busy.

The hotel is clean and comfortable with friendly helpful staff and great food. The spa is now in need of a little TLC and was far too crowded but that is out of control of the hotel.

We felt very uncomfortable the whole time we was there because before we arrived we complained about not knowing we had to be out the spa at a certain time. Not customer friendly at all if you have a problem. They take it very personally if you complain. Our TV didn’t work in our room, they said it was a connection error and that we ‘shouldn’t hold our breath’ that it will come back on. Service in the orangey was shocking, had to go up & ask for menus, then go up & ask to order the food, then had to go up & ask for drinks (only had 1 the whole meal as they didn’t ask again) then had to go up & ask for the bill. I complained and she said she will put the comments to her manager. The next morning we had breakfast in the Orangery the manager came over and said I know service was really bad last night so I have extended your check out to 12pm (but we already had a 12pm check out) he then gave us a bottle of Prosecco at 8:30am to say sorry. when going to the spa I gave my name and we felt uncomfortable again.. we said we hadn’t been before then the lady briefly said where to go then the next people who came in she gave them a tour and more in-depth about the spa so again felt like it was a personal problem as they was different with other guests. I was meant to be booking out the whole spa for a relaxing hen do of 20 people in 2020 and I’m gutted because the spa was so nice but the service overall is just diabolical.

First & foremost, thank you very much for your correspondence. We truly value feedback from our guests, whether it be positive or constructive, to help us better ourselves and understand how to exceed the expectations for all that visit us. It is extremely disheartening to hear that you did not feel the quality of your experience was up to the expected standard. We pride ourselves on our facilities, therefore it is disappointing that you do not feel you received the ultimate in relaxation with us. Firstly I would like to apologise for the issues that occurred with the televisions during your stay with us, it was an issue that occurred from our provider and affected a number of rooms on this particular day, unfortunately the remedy was not a quick one and therefore the televisions were offline for a number of hours. With regards your experience in The Orangery, I would like to assure you that this is not the norm especially based on the feedback that we get from our guests. I have spoken with the maître-de on that evening and he acknowledged that it was a tough service and that the high standards that are normally achieved fell short on this particular evening. Our maître-de, knowing that you did not receive the service that you deserved wanted to offer an apology along with a gesture which was offered in the form of a bottle of Prosecco to take away with you. Most guests who visit the spa on the day of departure have already experienced the spa the day before, however I see that you explained to the reception team that you hadn’t been in before, so this shouldn’t have just been assumed by our team. I have since spoken with the spa management team and they are addressing it within their training. We are always aiming to improve for our guests and we can only do this through honest and valued feedback.

Fantastic stay
My wife and I spent an evening at the hotel at Ribby Hall Village. I must say that from end to end the service and quality of our stay was fantastic. The hotel is very comfortable and in good keeping, our room was as expected and cleaned to a high standard. We booked in to the twilight aqua experience in the spa which was very nice, again the spa is clean and well kept. The addition of the bar in the Zen garden is also a nice touch. We dined in the Orangery and the food really was top notch, 3 courses of well crafted food. All round a great stay, we will return.

Dinner (in the Orangery) and breakfast were fantastic - both exceeded our expectations. Bedroom was OK but "luxury" is not a word we would have used to describe it. Décor in the bar & restaurant is horrific - every colour, texture and naff ornament going... it seriously induces a headache & does not reflect the skill in the kitchen or the peaceful/tranquil vibe the hotel tries to sell.

A lovely hotel with amazing staff.
This is a lovely hotel, but it is the staff that made our stay extra special; they were awesome from start to finish. Their personalised, friendly and good humoured approach made us feel welcomed and special and I would recommend the hotel based upon this. The room was spacious and comfortable and the spa facilities are fabulous, although very expensive. I’d recommend the restaurant too; the food was so tasty that we didn’t want the meal to end.

Perfect Peace in Preston!
We had such a relaxing time. Just what was needed before heading back to work next week. The Aqua thermal journey was amazing- a whole two hours with no phone, no conversation just me and my thoughts. Bliss! The food was delicious and the staff were just lovely, so welcoming and friendly. Our room was beautiful and so comfortable. We paid for this with our Tesco Clubcard voucher so our whole stay cost £79 for dinner bed and breakfast for 2 nights.
