The hotel is quite old and could definitely use some renovation. Even though we had VIP Access, we were not offered a room upgrade, which was disappointing. The biggest downside was the complete lack of kids' entertainment. We specifically chose this hotel because we expected children's activities and animation, so this was a major disappointment for our family. We also had plumbing issues in the room: both the sink and the shower drain became clogged during our stay. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Our room was cleaned every day, and housekeeping did a great job. The food was good, with a nice variety of options, so we could always find something we enjoyed. Overall, the hotel has some good points, but the outdated facilities and absence of kids' entertainment mean we would probably choose a different hotel next time.

We recently stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel Nuevo Vallarta, and while there were a few positive aspects, our overall experience was very disappointing. First, I want to recognize the staff. Everyone we interacted with was kind, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the condition of the hotel did not meet the expectations of a Hard Rock property or justify the premium price we paid. The hotel is clearly very outdated, and our room was old and in poor condition. We even found bugs, including a cockroach, in our room, which was completely unacceptable. Another major issue was the constant noise during the night. We could hear loud sounds coming from the plumbing and pipes, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The food quality was also very disappointing, especially at the buffet. What upset us the most was discovering on our last day that the hotel was closing that very day for a major renovation. This explained the outdated condition of the property. Had we known the hotel was at the end of its operating life and about to close for renovations, we would never have chosen to stay there or paid the premium price that was charged. We feel it was unfair to sell rooms at full price without informing guests that the property was in such poor condition and about to undergo a complete renovations. Because the accommodations and overall quality did not match what was advertised or what we paid for, I respectfully request a full refund for our stay.

Las instalaciones no me gustaron mucho, la comida nos tocó en varias ocasiones mucha gente que no se daban abasto , no había que servirse de desayuno, y lo peor fue la atención del personal, muy decepcionante nos robaron una cartera de adentro de la habitación y no pudieron dar solución y fue de los mismos empleados del hardrock , no quisieron hacerse responsable y la cartera traía id , tarjetas, y 6,000 mil pesos en efectivo , nunca dieron solución , y se lavaron las manos diciendo que hay que checar las cámaras y que estaban trabajando en eso aún cuando se dio horas exactas , y por el tiempo que nos íbamos del hotel no se pudo poner denuncia. Solo me dieron un correo para seguir revisando si la encontraron. Pésimo hotel , no recomiendo.

It was clean, the room was fine. The music and entertainment was great. I have two things to point out: the Legendary people trying to get you enrolled in their membership don,t accept a No for an answer. They were insisting until the very end, even after our bracelets were retired. And the other issue was that the buffet restaurant is not specifically international; they have different themes and it was affected two times in our 7 days stay. Once it was a completely Mexican party, and the other time was Asian a la carte. So, for those two dinner times, there was no buffet. On the other hand, the views are great.
