"My husband and I enjoyed our 3 night stay in the Owl's Nest for our anniversary get away. It's ideally located for access to Rainier, especially in the winter months when other gates are closed. The spot is modest, but accurate with listing details. We were a bit concerned about privacy since you can tell the listing is above another space, but it is just an empty barn/garage, so that's ended up being no concern. "The hotel itself is quite old and charming in its own way. However, this is really not a hotel more of a old bed and breakfast converted into a Hotel. The floors are old and creaking and the walls are thin. So any activity outside your room is very audible and can be disturbing. The room itslef despite recent renovations still feels quite dated and more like a bedroom in a house not a hotel room. Think small and utilitarian not lavish and roomy. No common things like a TV, alarm clock, etc....
