"One of the best lodging experiences I've ever had. The staff were so friendly and helpful with questions about my stay and plans while in town. The shopette had very reasonable prices and a huge selection of items for purchase. The hostel was very clean and well maintained. You could tell they put lots of thought into guest needs and comfort. I felt like I was stay at a family lodge. The outdoor area was beautiful. Showers were hot with great pressure. Couldn't recommend higher."

"Beautiful and clean, appeared newly built. Very cozy and was great for our family of 4! Only a short walk to the water… either dock or beach. Wish the weather was warmer because if it was we would have been in the water the whole time! Loved that Loon Lodge restaurant was right next door and downtown shops, groceries and restaurants less than 5 min drive away. Would definitely recommend this place to other families!"

"My wife and I had a great time. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking and the grill worked perfectly. When we got in the floors were clean and the linens were freshly washed. The wifi was great because cell reception is hit or miss without it. If you are looking for a quiet getting away in the woods on a private lake with no motor boats this is the place."
