"We had an excellent room. The bespart was the super comfy beds, clean and fresh bedding, and newly renovated rooms. Absolutely wonderful stay. The restaurant and pub were excellent as well. ""Unique" is the key word. If you want to experience something different, this is the place! The layout is unusual because it's a converted church. The heating is like a covered church (we built a fire both nights which made it even more charming), with the heated floor being a welcome feature. The grounds, with the Fall leaves in abundance, make it a storybook setting. We dined in Waterford both nights, so can't comment on the more local options. The beds were very comfortable. Host was great."
