The rooms were nice, parking was convenient. I left a piece of clothing in the room and when I called the hotel many times, they said they didn't find it. I told 100% it was left behind the bathroom door, but they say they didn't find it. Not true because I noticed it when we got to other hotel. They told me they don't take responsibility for any items left behind.

Had an unexpected stay in Regensburg when all trains to Munich were cancelled. This hotel was walkable from the train station. Staff were all amazing, courteous and friendly and spoke English which was so helpful after a stressful day. The restaurant had good food and delicious German beer. The room was very comfortable and just what we needed! Danke everyone at Novotel

In decades of traveling, I never had this experience before. They only let us check in IF the room is ready. Every other hotel I have ever been to lets you check in, and if the room is not ready you just deposit your luggage and come back later. Then the topper: IF the room is ready, they want to charge you EU15 (!) to check in early. Although the room is ready and just waiting . . . I was tempted to ask (but didn't) whether we get a EU 15 credit if we check our early. What a scam!

Warnung: Das Novotel in Regensburg ausgewiesen als 4* S möchte gerne nachhaltig sein. Daher ist eine Klimaanlage installiert, die erst ab 21 Grad Außentemperatur gemessen auf dem Dach kühlt. Wenn nun in der Übergangszeit (in unserem Fall an Ostern) die nach Südwesten ausgerichteten Zimmer an der Landshuter Straße sich stark erwärmen, springt die Klimaanlage nicht an. Nach Rücksprache mit der Rezeption war es uns zwar möglich, das Fenster ganz öffnen zu lassen, jedoch ist der Straßenlärm zur Landshuter Straße (in unserem Fall im ersten OG) in der Nacht nicht akzeptabel. Eine andere Lösung wurde uns leider nicht angeboten. Daher empfehle ich dringend in der Übergangszeit auf ein anderes Hotel auszuweichen, oder zumindest auf Zimmer zur Straßenseite zu verzichten. Die Zufahrtshöhe in die Tiefgarage beträgt 200 cm. Wer mit einer Dachbox anreist, kann für 5 € 8 Gehminuten entfernt parken.

Das war wirklich alles okay…. außerdem, die haben mir keinen Rechnung gegeben, weil habe durch Expedia reserviert und bezahlt und sollte ich von die das verlangen…. Ich meine trotzdem sollte eine Rechnung mir ausstellen ins Hotel auch. Mehr flexibilitet, sonst alles ok !! 👍😀
