Alva Hotel Brautarholt

Alva Hotel Brautarholt

8/10 Good
"Feels a little weird to check into a hotel with no front desk, but that’s the way of the world now, I guess. Once I got in and upstairs, everything was fine. Room was nice, though this might be the first hotel room I’ve ever been in that didn’t have a clock radio. Breakfast was adequate but unexceptional. Location is relatively convenient, it’s about a 20-minute walk to Harpa."

Guesthouse Sunna

Guesthouse Sunna

8/10 Good
"We were only here for one night, but I was pleasantly surprised. The location is top notch, walking distance to all the things, with both public and a few private parking options. Rooms are cozy with a sink plus a shared bathroom and kitchen. These seemed reasonably stocked with all you'd need. Staff was courteous and helpful. No elevator, so pack light or prepare for a struggle up the wide staircase."

"Breakfast was great and its proximity to a lot of things is awesome. Not too much to say about the staff. You really need to ask for things. Small but good enough."

10/10 Excellent
"Overall we were very happy with the stay. Highlights were the central location, welcoming/helpful staff and the good sized room. Property is close to all the attractions and transport. We were offered welcome drinks including wines and some light breakfast/coffee on the day of our departure. Staff helped to make reservations for tours/transfers. We will definitely reconsider them if we visit next time."
