"⭐ 1/5 This was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have had. The reception staff were unhelpful and showed very little interest in resolving guests’ concerns. Customer service was poor throughout my stay. What made matters worse was that the booking information did not clearly state that the room had no refrigerator. I was travelling with two young children, aged 1 and 5, and I had made this clear when booking. Having no fridge available for a family with young children is extremely inconvenient. I was also shocked to find out that rooms are only cleaned every three days. This is unacceptable, especially for families with children. Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene should be a basic standard in any hotel, and waiting three days for room cleaning does not meet reasonable expectations. The lack of transparency, poor customer service, and inadequate housekeeping made this stay very frustrating. I will not be booking with this hotel chain again and cannot recommend it to other families."

"We had a lovely stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The food was great, with plenty of options and good quality throughout our stay. The only thing worth noting is that some facilities, such as the swimming pool, require an additional charge if you wish to use them. However, this did not take away from our overall experience. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily return in the future. Thank you to all the staff for making our visit enjoyable."

"Good bits: Very spacious room and nicely decorated. There was also a short cut to outside if we needed to take our dog outside. The room was very comfortable and just the right temperature and the bathroom was very generously sized with a bath and shower. The hotel and restaurant is very dog friendly which is great. We also appreciated the free dog treats on Reception. We went to the restaurant for our evening meal and the food was excellent. Not so good bits: The Wifi suddenly went off at 8pm and didn't come back on again. Also the breakfast - You are given a time slot and 30 minutes to eat your breakfast and drink your coffee/tea - Woe betide anyone who dares to go over that! The restaurant was half empty yet a couple who had arrived early were told to sit out of the way until everyone on that time slot had come in. We then witnessed a lady being told to leave her table even though she was still eating (the restaurant still had plenty of empty tables at this point). The bizarre rules and rude staff was commented on by a few guests while we were there."

"Cleaning needs more attention. Insufficient pressure to hot water to shower or take a bath, very very disappointing. Sink tap has plenty off pressure for cold and hot water . Food served incomplete at the table with with mushrooms, scampi, onion rings and tartar sauce missing , waitress apologised but only scampi was brought to table in the end.... Three more tables around had same issue with missing food not what's been advertised on the menu. On a Tuesday evening it wasn't even busy and can't or don't want to serve all the food that has been ordered Expensive considering the quality and the missing food .. Breakfast was OK although no ground coffee just instant coffee"

"Large free car park. Staff were super friendly and soon sorted out some room problems. Dining area has been recently refurbished with a pleasant outlook over the canal. Corridor areas and the rooms we stayed in, although clean, large and functional seemed a bit tired and in need of a refurb. Powerful shower. Lift doesn't go to all floors. Doesn't seem to have Air conditioning. Breakfast was fine. Good location about 1 mile from Skipton town centre. Bus stop opposite takes you into Skipton if you don't want to drive."

"This is the third time we visited this hotel as it's in the perfect place in which to visit relatives in Bury. The room was large and at the back there is just fields so nice and quiet. Breakfast was good despite not receiving one of the items I'd asked for in the full English. The down side was that the furniture in the room was a little dirty and drab, nothing that a lick of paint couldn't cure. The bathroom door was also dirty as was the radiator and showerhead. We were only staying the one night so not so important. The bed was comfy and the grounds was nicely maintained."
