The only thing I didn't like was the lamp beside the bed, I think it should be much softer light for reading. It was too harsh. Everything else was great!!

The Hotel Des Epoques was all we asked for and more. When we checked in, and went up to our room the we had initially paid for, the check-in clerk quickly met us in our room and offered an alternate arrangement since we had a party of three, my wife, daughter, and me. We viewed the other room and it had two separate bedrooms with queen sized beds, and a shared bathroom. It was perfect. The decor was extravagant, with chandeliers in each room. The breakfast each day offer good low carb options, in addition to a variety of pastries. The cappuccino machine was exquisite. We were very close to some very restaurants. We will return to this location the next trip to Rome.

Whilst the building itself and the entrance seems very nice, the rooms are musty, old and less than impressive. The bed has a big dip in it. It felt like the mattress was 20 years old and had a lot of heavy people sleeping on it. The walls were dirty, it smelt musty in there I had to open the window every day to try and air it out. The key in the door almost didn’t even work! It took a lot of effort to turn the key on the right angle to open the door. No kettle, tea or coffee in the room. Location was good as the bus stops basically right outside and you can take the bus to the train station or straight across the city.

Excelente localização: próximo a pontos de ônibus, farmácia, restaurantes, supermercados. O estacionamento é na rua. Demos sorte de conseguir uma vaga bem enfrente à portaria do Hotel. Aconselho não ir de carro.

Wir hatten das große Vergnügen, einige Tage im Hotel des Époques in Rom zu verbringen – und es war in jeder Hinsicht ein außergewöhnliches Erlebnis. Schon beim Betreten des Hauses fühlt man sich in eine andere Zeit versetzt: Die stilvolle Einrichtung, geprägt von klassischer Eleganz und viel Liebe zum Detail, schafft eine warme, einladende Atmosphäre. Das gesamte Personal war überaus freundlich, professionell und aufmerksam – wir fühlten uns von der ersten Minute an willkommen. Besonders positiv hervorheben möchten wir den exzellenten Concierge-Service, der uns bei Reservierungen und Empfehlungen äußerst kompetent unterstützt hat. Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und tadellos sauber. Die Betten waren ausgesprochen bequem, und obwohl das Hotel zentral gelegen ist, konnten wir in völliger Ruhe entspannen – perfekt nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag in der Stadt. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt: Wir konnten unser Gepäck sowohl direkt am Morgen nach der Ankunft als auch am Abend vor unserem Rückflug problemlos und sicher im Hotel aufbewahren lassen. Das hat unseren Aufenthalt deutlich entspannter gemacht und uns erlaubt, den An- und Abreisetag in vollen Zügen zu genießen. Personal para mear y no echar gota. Instalaciones viejas. Ducha rota. El desayuno escaso y poco deseable sin opciones de sin gluten o veganos. La chica del desayuno es la única que se salva de la panda de ***que hay empezando por el recepcionista Franco que te falta el respeto y encima luego no te pide perdón y acabando por su compañera Alaina que se rio de mi en mi cara y cuando le dije que no me hacia gracia no fue capaz de solucionar nada. El peor hotel de mi vida y eso que he recorrido 27 paises. Además era la primera vez que reservaba con expedia y sera la ultima ya que aunque expedia me lo solucionaron en atencion al cliente la recepción del hotel eran unos ***. Si quereis disfrutar en roma cosa que yo no puede hacer por esta gente que me estuvo dos dias atosigando que no tenia reserva ni habitacion cuando se acabo demostrando que si y pagada encima dandome una habitacion de caca.

Loved my short stay! Great hotel

I stayed here solo and loved it. It’s a brilliant and affordable stay without compromising on quality and the service you’d expect. I’m very glad I chose this hotel and it’s 20 yards from a bus stop that will get you to all major spots in the city within minutes. The front desk was always manned and very helpful and hospitable

The staff was amazing and it was a great location. The room was large enough but we were on the fifth floor so we had to take the regular elevator to the third floor, get out, walk through a couple doors, down a hall and get on the exterior elevator to the fifth floor. That was annoying but we managed. All of the people working there were very kind and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Rome!
