Need work: (1) entryway requires one to carry suitcases up seven steps, (2) no hand soap supplied in room; minuscule shampoo packs that were inadequate as a bodywash, (3) need to bring elec. converters; no separate phone charge capability

Excellent location, close to the Vatican. The staff was very helpful (Nicoleta), our maid was friendly, sorry I didn’t ask her name. Our room was clean and with a great scent. The bathroom was comfortable and recently renovated. The breakfast room was renovated. The breakfast included boil eggs, bread, ham and different types of croissant(filled with cream, pistacchio ect) Juices, coffee, dry cereal. I missed scrambled eggs. Two recommendations, one of the two electrical outlets close to the main bed needs to be replace and the closet wardrobe has scratches affecting the room decoration!

The property was fine, but I’m very disappointed because I paid for the wrong week but changed it to the correct week and was forced to pay for both weeks because they did not do free cancellation even though the cancellation and rebooking was done within 10 minutes and was done 6 months before the traveling date. I emailed and called The hotel and Expedia but was told that I would not get a refund for the first reservation that I had done. I lost more then $750.00 for making a simple mistake within 10 minutes and 6 months before my travel. Please refund my money.

Property is dated. The room was smelly and had to request a air freshener to remove the smell which seemed like sewage. The sinks and showers were dated and required careful handling. Lift was temperamental. Staff was nice especially Luna who checked us in. The location is perfect for Rome.

Grand Olympic Hotel has been seen to have been recently refurbished/updated. The young lady on check in was very helpful and we had very interaction with any other staff but housekeeping was always done. The only thing letting the hotel down is that the rooms still need attention. Doorframes coming away, decoration in bathroom not great and looks to be suffering with damp also the shower leaks and at one point the handle was loose. However TV was useful to pass the time after walks and before dinner and the room was basic but “did the job”. Unsure if would return here unless it was significantly updated.

Everything was good except there were guests (kids) that kept running back and forth the hallway, knocking on our door, and ringing our hotel room door, the toilet is not flushing most of the time.

The property is located block away from Vatican. We walked from our hotel to colosseum and city central, less than an hour of walking. Lots of delicious restaurants and shops. It’s not the crazy city central, yet in the city. The hotel has breakfast- I loved it. Delicious food and coffee to start your day. Staff are nice and room was clean and exceeded our expectation, very recommended. If we come back, I would stay there again.
