Great location. 10 mins walk to the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Novona, Spanish Steps and the Pantheon. Colloseum and the Vatican were 30 mins walk away. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Train station was a short distance away - taxi cost approx €8. Highly recommend this hotel.

Property didn’t have rooms available and they sent us to a different hotel 3 blocks away in an apartment building and elevator didn’t work and we had to carry luggage 4 flights of stairs. We booked the hotel and no rooms. This was ridiculous

All the pictures of the rooms in my category showed windows. When we checked in there wasn’t a single window which made you feel like you were in a closet. The pictures in the ad don’t depict what our room was actually like at all and it’s not cheap to stay there.

I booked a room to stay at Hotel 55 Fifty five not at another location. Once we arrived we were told that we would be staying at another property down the street. Our room was in San Carlo Suites/Corso Suite Guest House. This was not what I paid for and I should be given a refund.

I believed I would be staying in hotel 55 which looked lovely. I was disappointed to be moved to another location under a different hotel name , it was cramped and definitely not 4 star. Clothes from previous occupant still in wardrobe, no where to your things , safe wasn’t even bolted down, no bar, two bottles of water on arrival in mini bar. Basically a guest house or B&B , tiny area for breakfast which also lacked in all very disappointing. Only plus was the bed which was comfortable
