This is a small classic Italian hotel. Lobby of actual hotel is on the 5th floor with large marble steps and a very small but efficient lift. The lobby is quite small but check in was easy and rooms, while old, were comfortable and clean. My family loved staying in this neat Italian hotel. Location was great, walking distance to Colisseum.

Location is very accessible to most of Rome’s points of interest. It is very close to the termini stations and bus stop. The staff were very pleasant, accommodating and gave us good info on our travel questions. The place is clean and large enough to accommodate all 4 of us. I would definitely book this hotel on my next travel to Rome

We thouroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Marcantonio. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was a typical European hotel room. The AC worked well and we needed it. There are dozens of restaurants and shops in the area. The hotel is a five minute walk to termini so there is easy access to public transportation. The area is lively but our room was very quiet. I would definately stay there again.

I absolutely loved my stay here in Rome! The staff were very kind and the breakfast in bed every morning was such a sweet touch. While my husband and I were walking from the train station to check in, I fell on the cobble stone and hurt my knee pretty good. The staff noticed during check in and helped clean up my scrapes for me!!! Very sweet people. Regarding the room, the AC was great, and it was very clean. The shower was very small, but so were most of the places we stayed in Italy. Definitely a great stay for the price. Would come again.

A small hotel that will be very convenient for going to the airport. Roma Termini is nearby. For us it was good because we spent one night and had to go to the airport the next morning. The only downside is that it is one the 5th floor of an old building where the elevator is very old. And it didn't work when we had to check out. So we had to go downstairs by using the stairs with our luggages and the kid.

The staff were amazing and lovely people. The room was quite small and the shower was probably more suited to smaller people than a grown man. The air conditioning was superb and very much needed. We were concerned about the area this hotel is located in due to negative reviews of the Termini area but we found it to be a fairly safe and good area to be in. It was a good location to walk to most of the major sightseeing areas. The hotel is on the Monti side of Termini station. There were restaurants and shops quite close by. Good budget hotel for couples, not so much for families.

A great location- close to train station, lots of restaurants and walking distance to sites like the coliseum. The staff were wonderful and we enjoyed the breakfast everyday with croissants and latte macchiatos. The hotel has character and we loved the elevator which fits two people with luggage. It was a great experience. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is located close to the train station. It was in a shared building with other hotels on the 5th floor. If the elevator is not working, you must carry your luggage up 5 flights of stairs. The staff was friendly. Smoking was permitted in common areas so the small was unpleasant. The room and bathroom were not clean. There were bugs and mold in the bathroom. The bathroom window would not close. I would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.

staff super helpful and nice, they offered complimentary breakfast (croissants, cappuccinos, & juice—which was wonderful). the hotel room was extremely cramped, AC worked a little bit-just enough to keep us cool. hot water was nonexistent in the shower, and the window, when opened, revealed piles of black mold. also, the only thing keeping somebody from getting into the apartment is 1 formal door (not locked, just pull to open), and our apartment door which was a key so no secondary locks. lots of strange sounds at night so it was not easy to sleep

I would give Hotel Marcoantonio 4 out of 5 stars, although it was very close to being a 5-star stay. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the property was clean, and the location was in a great area. This is not a luxury 5-star hotel, but it is a cute, comfortable place with plenty of charm. One thing I really appreciated was that they brought a light breakfast every morning, which was a nice touch and a great way to start the day. There were only a couple of minor issues during my stay. The TV did not have any channels available, and one evening there was no hot water. When I reported it, I was told that too many guests were showering at the same time. Despite these inconveniences, I would still recommend Hotel Marcoantonio. If you’re looking for a clean, affordable, and welcoming place to stay while you spend your days exploring the area, it’s a great choice and a comfortable place to recharge for the next day’s adventures.
