From the start of our stay everything was smooth, easy, clean and friendly. We arrived nearly 2 hours early and were able to check in to room ready for us. We stayed for 4 nights had our room freshened up each day. The fridge was well stocked for an optional fee per item at reasonable prices!) We stayed in one of the refurbished rooms and were very happy with the whole room and facilities! The guys on reception were super helpful and friendly and gave us a great recommendation on our first night for dinner near by (Hespresso) with 10% off the bill! The hotel is in a great location and easy to walk to parts of Rome, we reached the areas of the Colosseo & Trevi Fountain within 15-20 minutes. We look forward to returning to Rome one day and will happily return here!

Great location

The hotel is in an excellent location. A couple of minutes away from Republica metro station and short walks to Colosseum, trevi fountain. Breakfast decent. Staff friendly and helpful.

We were in a level 5 room, which was not pictured in the advertisements - the lift only goes to level 4 so we had to then walk up stairs, the level 5 rooms are also not renovated/updated and I think due to that the cleanliness wasn’t the best - but it was a 3 star hotel. I felt our room was 2 star. The staff were friendly and helpful though and we liked the location!

Staff were extremely helpful. Staff very knowledgeable and suggested restaurants, sightseeing and transport options. Easy to get around, close to public transport. Beware gypsies pick pickets and operate around the train station.

Thev staff was very flexible and allowed me to keep my luggage at the hotel hours prior to check in at no additional charge since I arrive in Rome very early. I really appreciated that! Good City hotel

Clean hotel with friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was good but not extensive. Seating for breakfast was limited. Excellent location- easy walking distance (2 mins) of closest metro. Major sightseeing- Trajans column and Vittoriano monument 15 mins walking distance.

My stay in this Hotel was a total pleasure!! First of all the staff was super kind, helpful and friendly and really cared about my comfort. I want to thank Dennis at front desk for his attention, kindness and customer support!! The location is amazing: a block away from the subway station and close to great dining options, city center and shopping. The room and bathroom were super clean, updated, and a confortable bed to rest after a long day walking beautiful Roma! I highly recommend them!!

My room was extremely small, one of the smallest I ever slept in. The carpet in the room was old, stained, and dirty. The worst was the bathroom. In smelled of sewage so strong that I needed to breathe through the mouth to be able to use it. The challenge however was brushing my teeth. I had to brush them in the room, just rinse them over the horrible smelly sink, trying not to gag. I asked to be assigned another room, but the receptionist told me that the hotel was full. I spent 5 nights in those disgusting conditions. The Patria Hotel ruined my visit in Rome. Also the area Hotel Patria is located is noisy and looks unsafe at night. I could hear screams in the street every night. How could this hotel be rated “good”?

Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Mein Zimmer war im 5. Stock (unrenoviert). Am Morgen um 7 starteten ohne Vorwarnung die Renovierungsarbeiten - an Schlaf war nicht mehr zu denken. Lage super, direkt an der Metro und auch zu Fuss schnell am Bahnhof bzw. Touri-Sehenswürdigkeiten. Ein nächsten Mal würde ich ein Comfort Zimmer (renoviert) nehmen!

Rooms have been updated and very clean. Sraff are great! Location is a 10 - 15 min walk from Termini train station and about 5 from the Repubilca Metro station. Buffet breakfast available for 10e with a selection of breakfast items. Street can be noisy at night.
