it was a little difficult to find: but all you had to do was ring the ‘Opera’ bell on the side of the big doors. The staff are absolutely lovely and speak english which was really helpful, they were so nice. The breakfast had a lot to offer, and the rooms were cleaned daily. It was lovely for me and my siblings! Would definitely come again.

Just returned from a long weekend to explore Rome with our 2 children. Great position for seeing the sights. The suite was very clean with everything you need towels, toiletries etc. There was a nice choice for breakfast and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend! Thank you for a great weekend!

Amazing, quiet and comfortable retreat at the top of Rome historic/central area. The only challenge is locating the way in. At the big doors on the street ring the bell and announce yourself and greet the host. Once through, go into the doors onto the left and into the building. Up a couple of steps there is a tall staircase to the left and a couple more steps leading to a corridor. Go right along the corridor, pass an office, and reach a staircase. Go up one level on the stairs. The second door on level 1 is the Suites. There is a plaque indicating this, and the internal bell. Ring the bell and you will be inside and can relax :)

Love the place and surrounding area. Room was very comfortable and bathroom was extremely modern. Plenty of choices for restaurants near by. Only issue was no sign to identify the building. Was told they're working on putting one (likely an old landmarked building and may require special permission).

Opera Suites is a moderately priced spot in a really posh part of Rome. It's nestled amongst much pricier hotels in a nice, non descript building. It's less than a five minute amble from the Spanish Steps heading downhill, and equally close to Villa Borghese if you head uphill. The neighborhood is very quiet at night, which is welcome after a day spent amidst the hustle and bustle of a very busy city. The staff are super friendly and helpful and work hard to keep the place spotlessly clean. A nice breakfast buffet is provided too. Our room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and a modern, well appointed bathroom. My thanks to Giovanni, Tanya and Marco for their kindness. We hope to see you all again!

This accommodation is conveniently located near the bus and near the Metro, near Spanish Steps. We were able to come and go on our own, after hours we had keys to enter the building. The room was well-cleaned. The AC worked well. There were dining options nearby which were off the tourist paths, which we liked. Staff of Tatiana and Mark were helpful and welcoming.

We loved staying in this hotel. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and spacious and the shower was very good! It could benefit from a non-slip mat but other than that it was great! The breakfast was not like the French breakfast but did the trick! We loved the location too! It’s super close to a Metro stop and it’s close by but not too close to Trevi Fountain.

Not very impressed. When we arrived at the location of the hotel, according to google maps, there was no signage for it. We had to call the front desk to let us in. Our room had two sets of doors that both locked. To our surprise they needed seperate keys and we only recieved one key. Ultimately, we had to call the emergency number, wait over an hour, and be lectured about why we should not close one of the doors. Clearer instructions at check-in would have been helpful. Needless to say, we left feeling frustrated with the service.

This hotel was very clean and updated. Fantastic location for walking Rome. Limited closet and bathroom storage space. Access to the hotel was a bit challenging - had to have keys for 3 doors and carry bags up stairs.

We loved our stay at this hotel. It is more like a bed and breakfast. Very clean, large and spacious rooms. Our room came with 2 bathrooms. It’s walking distance to all the main sites and right next to the Borghese park which was ideal for a family with young kid. Quiet and Convenient. 2 mins from Metro line. Staff were great. We highly recommend the Opera Suites for a relaxing and quiet stay in Rome!

Great stay for a good price.
Very nice room with good bathroom and comfy bed. Convenient location is an easy walk to many of Rome’s historic sites, as well as dining and shopping. The staff is very helpful.

The staff were very friendly! Would 100% recommend staying here. Me and my girlfriend were explained where to go around the city. And breakfast was waiting every morning. Will definitely be returning here if I am to come to Rome again .

We spent our last night at Opera Suites Roma before flying home. Overall, our stay was okay, but the experience caught us off guard. There is no signage from the street, and the entrance is through a residential/communal hallway. The property is a bed & breakfast, not a hotel as we anticipated. The main foyer is on the second floor and is dead silent and darker. Our check in was rushed, and it was hard to understand the lady at the reception desk. My wife and I were tired, and just wanted to get into our room, but failing to recognize that, she proceeded to highlight the entire map of Rome for us and what sites/attractions to visit. Then, she left and we didn't see her again. In the morning we checked out with another gentleman, but didn't know who he was. Our room was quiet, clean and spacious. Overall it was good value and served the purpose and we had a good night sleep, but the whole experience was just a bit odd not as expected. Would recommend for a night or two max, but not for an extended stay in Rome.

We want to clarify some points of your review: If he had read correctly at the time of booking he would have read that it is not a Hotel but a B&B. If he had read our welcome email he would have read that there are no signs on the street but we explain how to find us without problems. The lady at the reception explains the attractions we have nearby to make it easier for you to see the most beautiful monuments of Rome. In the morning the gentleman was one of the collaborators who works in Opera. All the hotels have more than one employee. thanks a lot

Quaint, secluded place close to restaurants;
We felt very welcome by the staff; very helpful in holding our luggage for a few hours before our train left; calling us a cab! Breakfast was only €5! Quiet & close to Trevi fountain & the Spanish steps.

Wonderful!
It was a little tricky where to go when we checked in. There isn't too much signage, but we are so happy we stayed here. The location is wonderful and it is so clean and relaxing. Only downside was we stayed in the room with the loft and that can get very hot up in the loft but the rest of the room was cool. Again, really enjoyed our stay and hopefully will be back to Rome to stay there again!

We got in late, so that was an added expense of 20 euros we knew about as they are only there til 830, we were just happy to finally make it in at 10. There seemed to be some confusion about breakfast being included. Upon check in we were told it was an extra $5 each, but then we were offered breakfast in the morning for free. Regardless, it wasn't that tempting, so we made coffee in our room and ate elsewhere later. Hotel is at the top of a hill, so after walking around Rome all day, we'd still have to walk up the hill to get to bed. So, be prepared. And, after the employee leaves for the night, you are there alone but maybe with other tourists.

We would like to clarify some things: 1) at the time of booking we send ALL our welcome e-mail where we explain that our reception is active until 9.30 pm and later we have to pay the late check. If you haven't read it, it's not our fault. 2) Breakfast in YOUR booking was not included because you wanted to save money, but we offered it, but despite this, you criticize it as well. 3) we fill out the breakfast form the night before, because we order cakes and croissants in pastry, to avoid waste. 4) Our b&b is located a few steps from the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain (the most important points of the city), but at the same time at night there is no noise. Although the hotel was very hard to find at first as it’s among other small hotels in the same building, we enjoyed this hotel and compared to other cities we have stayed in this was luxury. Beautiful big room, such a comfy bed and the staff, very helpful

Poor night’s sleep-THIN walls
I am a bit surprised at all of the very positive reviews of this place. Yes it’s very clean and the people who work there are very nice but this place isn’t great. Good: 1. It’s clean 2. Staff is nice 3. Location is near major points of interest Bad: 1. The walls are PAPER thin. I mean PAPER thin. This place isn’t a hotel, it’s inside of a office type building which they converted it into a 7 room place. 2. You can hear every single noise made by someone in the room next to you. The guy next to us was coughing up a lung and you could hear every single cough. And when someone put a cup on a table in the kitchen area you can hear it from across the hotel 3. The finishes in the room are inadequate. The outlet covers kept coming apart anytime you unplugged your device and the shower drain kept coming off. The shower head was put on crooked. It’s clear the finishes are cheaply made. Overall, book someplace else if you want a good nights sleep.

I was thrilled with the room we were given to stay in. We each had our own bathroom and shower. The sofa bed was very comfortable compared to any I have slept on in the past and there was a sliding door between the bedroom and living space for more privacy. The staff was very kind and helpful. Once we arrived by car we were able to navigate thru Rome from hotel without difficulty. Very good location near restaurants and Spanish steps we were able to walk to most points of interest!
