Although the hotel is on a rather busy street did not hear any traffic from the room (facing the road). The historic center of town is just across the street and very easy to reach and enjoy. The place is in what I consider a really great location at one end of Lake Annecy with a fantastic view across the length of the lake. A bicycle rental shop 2 minutes away is a GREAT way to get around the lake to Old Annecy with clear bicycle paths along huge stretches of the lake. My son a d I really loved...

"We had a wonderful stay at the Catarina B&B! The hosts were incredibly warm and helpful; and the room and the whole facility were sparkling clean and charming. The homemade breakfast was fantastic, especially the freshly home baked goods every morning. Convenient location, quiet with walking and hiking options, yet close to the city and several restaurants near by. The view of Alps was breathtaking! "

"It was nice to be on the Lac but we were unaware that the hotel was part of a pub and was on the road where delivery trucks come early in the morning to service the other restaurants in the area. It was nice to have free onsite parking and the walking and biking paths."

"Spacious room (family of 4), secure parking. Convenient location for a stopover on the way to the Alps. Good, practical hotel. Dinner is now buffet style and wouldn't choose it again. Didn't use the spa so can't comment"
