Nice comfortable hotel stay
Nice hotel with a good bar/restaurant area and even a produce shop on site. Good food (we ate in the bar area). Room comfortable although I had a top floor room with the eaves slightly intruding into the space and facing the front (main road) was a little noisy) - my colleague had a ground floor room at the rear as his room was fine

I loved staying at the Hotel Ry! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The breakfast each morning was delicious. There is a train station right across the road from the hotel and we traveled each day into Silkeborg with ease. I would stay again.

Okay if there for business
The hotel was very business orientated and there seemed to be an expectation to be out of the room by 10am each day. Otherwise the room was not tended to by housekeeping. Very noisy in the corridors in the morning. Especially by housekeeping vacuuming outside the door by 9am.

Good value hotel in a great location
Excellent hotel in terms of location and breakfast. Room was a good size but lacked any coffee making facilities or fridge. The bathroom was designed as a "wet room" but poorly laid out so after using the shower you needed to dry the floor to use anything else in the bathroom.

Conveniently located in downtown Ry
We were very satisfied with our stay. The newer part of the hotel is comfortable and quiet, but the rooms are a bit small. The breakfast is generous. The restaurant serves a good dinner with an excellent wait staff, for a reasonable price. Try to stay a Sunday night as young chefs take over the kitchen and cook a delicious meal for a very reasonable price. The hotel is located in the middle of town, convenient to everything. There's a great ice cream and candy store right across the street

Convenient location
The hotel did not have any ability for coffee or tea in room. There was no safe in room nor any refrigeration. This resembled a room of twenty years ago.

The room was very warm. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The menu was limited. We were there for a week and the breakfast was the same everyday. The buffet breakfast didn't have a wide enough selection. Fine for work. Would not stay for leisure.

A little disappointing
Compared to other European Hotels the standard was "very average" albeit we understand rather the norm for the country e.g. no shampoo/shower gel provided, no tea/coffe facilities in the room etc. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Næsten fantastisk
Stadig rigtig god beliggenhed. Fint værelse med god plads. Men det var meget koldt. Det meget lille skrivebord var fyldt med vandkedel og diverse tilbehør for at kunne lave kaffe, hvilket egentligt er fint nok. Men det kunne indrettes bedre så det var plads til mere bordplads. Der var et godt udvalg ved morgenmads buffeten. Men alt det varme mad var koldt eller højst lunkent.

Jeg er glad for Hotel Ry. Det ligger rigtigt godt og er hyggeligt. Super service og skønne værelser. Eneste lille minus er, at de bør kigge lidt på bruserhovederne. De er kalket til.

Vi havde en fin overnatning fra fredag til lørdag. Venligt og hjælpsomt personale. Værelset var også fint, sengen god.badeværelset kunne godt trænge til en ordentlig omgang, det kan jeg godt tillade mig at sige da jeg selv arbejder inden for samme branche og ved hvordan det skal se ud.Morgenmad også fin, der var hvad der skulle være. Hotellet ligger lidt i den dyre ende så man burde måske nok opgradere med lidt mere lækkehed.

Hotel i dejligt område
Hotellet ligger i et meget smukt område - men vi havde en kedelig udsigt lige ud til parkeringspladsen. Indkøbsmuligheder er lige overfor hotellet. Dejligt at der er mulighed for at lave te og kaffe på værelset - men stikkontakten sad i vores værelse sådan at elkedlen måtte stå på gulvet under skrivebordet for at kunne nå. Det er ikke så sikkert/praktisk at kravle rundt med kogende vand på gulvet. Morgenbuffeten var tømt for brød da vi skulle spise kl. 9 og udvalget var lidt skuffende. Personalet havde meget svært ved at følge med til at rydde bordene af så nye kunne få plads. Hotellet virkede lidt ramt af manglede feriedækning både i restauranten om aftenen og ved morgenmaden.

Dejligt hotel
Blev taget godt imod i receptionen og fik en fin info om hotellet. Vores værelse var stort, pænt og rent. Dejligt badeværelse og lækre nye senge. Lidt larm fra vejen, men med lukkede vinduer ikke noget problem, og selv med åbne vinduer sov vi fra den smule trafikstøj der var fra gaden. Hotellet ligger centralt og lige ved søerne. God restaurant på hotellet og fin morgenmad
