Beautiful location.

About a 20 minute drive from the Amsterdam airport, this is a cute little home in a quaint town in the country. Some restaurants close by but not a whole lot else, which is kind of what we were looking for. The host is nice, knowledgeable about sites and surrounding areas, and helpful with special needs. Large, fresh breakfast included as well.

Wonderful host

This place fit the bill very well for us. A place not just to sleep but also enable us to have a place to relax and have a cup of coffee or tea and something basic to eat. Comfortable living/dining setup, good bed, bathroom facilities ingenious for the space. Donald is a great host, English is his native language so conversation was very easy.

Good and relaxing Location to explore the netherlands

The Location was ideal to explore the netherlands. Our Host Donald give us good advices for the daytrips and makes a delicious breakfast. His gallery and the artworks got its special flair. We we're in the roof Apartment. A cosy one room Apartment with a view to all four directions.

Unique Experience

Though the property is located on a busy street, there are nearby pastures and a large park across the way. Located in an art gallery, the accommodations provide ample opportunity to experience interesting and unique works. The included breakfasts were delicious and our host was very gracious, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area.

Great! Location and a Great! Host

Traveling with another couple we rented both the apartment and the loft. The location is great for traveling in any direction in the Netherlands. Donald provided information and insight to Dutch traditions, recommendations for great local restaurants and interesting places to visit not included in the usual TripAdvisor lists. The gallery is a neat plus, filled with beautiful and unusual pieces from artists all over the world. There is a large secluded estate right across the street that is great for a long or short walk. I should also mentioned the excellent full breakfast that Donald prepares. If you like the bed and breakfast experience then this is the place for you.

Bemühter Gastgeber, liebevolles Frühstück, schöne Lage am Kanal aber fehlendes Badezimmer

Der Gastgeber ist sehr kommunikativ und gibt sich große Mühe beim Frühstück und beim Geben von Tipps für Unternehmungen. Auch die Gallérie im Erdgeschoss mit persönlicher Führung war sehr interessant. Die Lage des Objekts ist auch wirklich gut, sowohl für Ausflüge ins Grüne als auch für Städtetouren, z.B. Amsterdam. Die Unterkunft war aber wörtlich ein Zimmer, es gab kein extra Badezimmer, sowohl die Dusche als auch die Toilette waren nur durch einen kleinen Vorhang abgetrennt. Das ist nicht jedermanns Sache und war für mich auch nicht aus den Informationen bei FeWo-direkt ersichtlich.

Donald zal alles doen om het verblijf een fijn verblijf te maken. Vel leuke adviezen over de omgeving, en heerlijk ontbijt. De bovenste verdieping had alles wat we nodig hadden. Het gordijn dat de douchegedeelte afschermde had wat groter gemogen. Heerlijk bed. We hebben een fijne week gehad Yolande

Accueil chaleureux

Donald nous a accueilli avec beaucoup de gentillesse. Son logement contient soit une chambre avec une sdb séparée sur un étage soit un studio sous les combles avec un lit double, un lit simple, une douche, un sani-wc, un lavabo faisant office d'evier et un petit coin pour le repas.Nous étions installés dans ce studio. Il bénéficie d'un certain charme sous les combles, c'est lumineux. Cependant l'espace manque d'intimité surtout pour les wc ! et le coin repas ne permet pas vraiment de cuisiner... Les équipements (lave vaisselle, lave linge, sèche cheveux) sont disponibles sur demande uniquement, auprès de Donald. Escaliers raides abouchant dans la chambre, attention avec des enfants de moins de 3 ans. Les environs sont charmants, il y a un immense bois dans lequel faire une belle balade a vélo, et une location de vélo au bout de la rue. Supermarché Jumbo où nous avons acheté de bons repas frais a réchauffer au micro onde, a 3min en voiture. Parking gratuit et très aisé dans la rue. Le petit déjeuner est excellent, Donald est au petit soin. Le temps n'a pas permis de profiter de la terrasse sur le canal pour le petit dej, mais c'est très mignon. Accès a Amsterdam :parking relais: park and ride Arena, 25min d'accès voiture puis 15-20min metro. Encore Merci a Donald pour sa gentillesse et sa compréhension de nos besoins.

Location très agréable dans un cadre champêtre avec les canards et les cygnes -

Séjour très sympathique - Petit déjeuner copieux et bien servi - Nous avions de petits bouquets de fleurs chaque matin - Emplacement pour la voiture - Nous pouvions nous rendre à une gare très proche pour aller à Amsterdam sans problème . Belle région avec ses canaux . Pas de problème pour se déplacer en voiture pour visiter tous les alentours .

Ein bisschen improvisiert , aber sehr herzlich!

Donald ist ein wunderbarer Gastgeber, der uns sehr herzlich aufgenommen hat. Wir haben von ihm viele sehr interessante Tips für Amsterdam und Umgebung bekommen! Absolut sehenswert ist seine Galerie im Erdgeschoss und sein Frühstück sehr zu empfehlen!
