"The front desk staff was wonderful. The two free drinks were a great bonus. The free dinner was ok, but couldn't eat there two days in a row. Breakfast was ok too, but not a lot of choices. The room was clean, but we could hear everything going on in the hallway. Overall we really liked it there. Not perfect, but very nice. I would recommend it."

"Everything was in good shape. Room had the basic amenities plus a refrigerator and microwave. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Safe location. The only thing that was a problem was noisy construction going on around 9 AM on the hill behind the hotel. Normally even that wouldn't bother me, except I didn't get to the hotel till after 3 AM. A very good value for the price."

"The room originally assigned to my family was poorly cleaned and fast food trash was left behind. It had a smell of old wet dirty clothes. We were given a new room (next door to the original) and it was cleaner, it still smelled bad, but had disgusting stains on the walls. The walls are very thin and we heard neighbors and also had people running and screaming through the halls all night long."

"I was so disappointed in my recent stay at Hyatt. I’ve always loved the location when I visit Hoover. The property has not been well maintained. The room wasn’t clean. The drain in the shower and sink was slow. There was visible mildew in the shower. The carpet was dirty. The soda was broken. The refrigerator was smelly with old food stains in it. The toilet stopped up the first night with just tissue. They do not clean the rooms the next day and you have to call for clean linen. 😞"

"Overall, our stay was pleasant, and most aspects of the accommodation met our expectations. However, there were a few issues that affected our experience. Upon entering the bathroom, there was an unpleasant odor coming from the shower area. Additionally, our room was located on the second floor, and the shower did not provide any cool or cold water—only very warm to hot water was available, which made showering uncomfortable. We also noticed that there were no extra linens provided in the room, which would have been helpful during our stay. Aside from these concerns, everything else was satisfactory. The property was otherwise comfortable, and we appreciated the overall experience."
