The hotel is located in an interesting area but not easy to access. Rooms are tiny but air conditioning worked well. Staff was extremely helpful providing tips and advice. Breakfast is served in a connecting restaurant but was disappointing with limited selection and little variety. "The building and grounds here are absolutely beautiful. It's clearly been a wonderful place to stay at some point. Having said that, our trip was generally very disappointing. We arrived in the evening, and there were no staff at all to be seen. There was a bar open, with music playing, and no staff. A sign noted to call a mobile number for help. The first number rang out repeatedly. On a second call, a person answered and seemed confused about whether any staff remained at the hotel. Eventually...

"Everything about this experience was so unique and warm. It made our stay in Stonehaven so memorable! Everything is so clean.
The room even came with a fan which my husband relies on at home.
The kitchen is well equipped to cook your food if needed and the option to use the clothes washer was a huge bonus.
Breakfast options were plenty and the coffee machine was exactly what I needed!"
