"I had to be there for a family event. The room was very clean, I loved the decor and colors, ample room in the bathroom for toiletries, comfortable bed. What made it five stars was the staff. Danny, the local shuttle driver, gave me a ride to Grumpy's Pizza nearby (former Jersey girl, always has to grab the best pizza when I'm there. Sergio helped me when I had difficulty connecting to the wifi, and Erica was warm and welcoming. There were other staff whose names I didn't catch, but they were all kind and gracious. While the location is a bit out of the way if you don't have a car, like me, I really appreciate the shuttle for getting around the local area. The price/value were great, as a solo traveler, felt safe and was comfortable."

"We stayed in the upstairs apartment space. It fit our needs well. It was easy to get in and out of NYC for day trips. The house was clean and we felt safe in the neighborhood. Although we didn’t bring our two year old with us this time, we loved that all of the baby items were easily available in the house. I did make a huge mistake and booked it for the wrong weekend and didn’t notice until the last minute. Luckily the house was available and Giuseppe was very kind and helpful. "

"Be careful — here's what happened:I made a reservation a week before our travel date, and the payment was successfully withdrawn from my bank account. I waited for an email from the host with directions and details about the property, but I never received anything. I reached out to the host, and they first told me there was no parking for my car. Then, surprisingly, they claimed they hadn’t received my reservation or any payment — this was the night before our trip. It was a terrible experience.Thankfully, Vrbo stepped in and refunded me, but we were left scrambling to find a new place to stay at the last minute. Very stressful and disappointing."

The pad is just as cozy as the host describes, clean, tastefully decorated, and fully equipped with everything a family might need to feel at home, including wifi access. It makes a great base for exploring, especially given its location at the center of many local sights. That said, the surrounding neighborhood is quite urban: it's noisy, a bit rough around the edges, and parking can be a real challenge. These are trade-offs to keep in mind when considering a stay here."
