"We had the BEST stay here!! We are coming back. Everyone here is amazing. Best meal, room, Bourbon lesson & tasting! Keton & Mary were exceptional. Best sour dough this side of anywhere!!! They loved on our dog Aussie! The bourbon coffee was exceptional in the morning! Who knew you could find sea-food like this in KY??? Stay here-I guarantee you will love it. "

"Room was clean beside the bathroom. Soap dish in shower had mold on it and other peoples hairs in the shower. Breakfast was better than other hotels and better than I expected. Did not try pool or gym. Would stay again. Peephole was electronic, super cool! "

"Quaint, quiet, simple, historical charm. Great sitting room with a fireplace and checkerboard. Bar and restaurant on premises. We never even walked downtown !"

"This place was really nice and quiet. Granted we did this in December on the downside of the season. A room was really quite clean and comfortable. The breakfast was OK. Nothing right Home about. We only stayed here for one night. Check in was very simple"

"Staying at the motel was a unique experience. It reminded me of when I was a kid and we would stay at motels on vacation. The rooms are nicely updated while retaining the ambiance of staying at a motor lodge in the 60's. It was a very enjoyable experience. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The only issue we had was the room would get very warm at night, and when we adjusted the temperature on the thermostat, and eventually turned it off, the heat still came on, and the room remained very warm. I would highly reccommend the Bardstown Motor Lodge for people looking for a more interesting experience than a typical hotel."
