"Carrie and Dan were welcoming and helpful hosts. They were quick to reply to questions and give local recommendations. Breakfast was delicious. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Very short walk to Bardstown restaurants and bars and short drives to several distilleries. "

"This was a very unique hotel. Nice furnishings, and great housekeeping service. We were surprised to have hot items added to the breakfast. One review, someone previously stated it was just a cold breakfast. They had cute mini waffle station, eggs, biscuits and gravy and sausage. They also have cereal/oatmeal, bagels, bread for toast, yogurt, etc.
The only thing, housekeeping uses a strong floor cleaner, Fabulosa undeluded. I could smell it going to bed. It also states on the hotel site that it has a swimming pool and that’s not true. They might’ve had one at one time, but my husband thinks they filled it in where they put the indoor Pickleball court and cornhole, which is unique. "
"First timebstaying at a bed and breakfast. Really cool and historical property. Host was great and gave tours ofbthe jail. Breakfast on the back patio at 9am each morning was a highlight as well. Would definitely stay again."
"They are in the process of updating the hotel; we had loose plug ins but compared to the comfort and service offered it was not a concern. Breakfast was mostly carbs but there was yogurt with cane sugar. It would be rough for diabetic and there was plenty of coffee, thank you! "
