"Booked a “best estuary” view room and it did not disappoint, view was amazing and we had a lovely large balcony. We had fantastic weather for October so we made the most of this beautiful location. Hotel staff were super helpful, breakfast was good and we also used the Spa which was a nice bonus. All in all would definitely return, location of this hotel is perfect for winderful views and short walking distance to all that Salcombe has to offer."

"Perfect location close to town centre. Property comfy & cosy, quirky & lots of character. Very comfy beds, lovely bathroom, second floor a lovely place for young people to have their own space. Interior mostly very clean - a few things missed. A few things also need updating or repairing. Stairs to first floor really are very steep & there was also a low ceiling so anyone who is tall needs to be careful!"

"The property was fine, being met with a pair of underpants on the outside banister didn’t bode well, but once inside it was fine. We are in our seventies so going downstairs in the morning with two cups of tea wasn’t ideal but we worked around it. The place was clean and very well equipped although we ate out every day. "The apartment is amazing with fantastic views across the estuary. Warning though, the parking space is very dificult to maneuver into, my Toyota Corolla barely made it, by backing in through the entrance, anything bigger you will struggle. Double warning, the apartment is up a very steep and long road, even 30 plus's were struggling, and there are no taxis. After our first trek up the hill we always took the car into the centre car parks, but there isn't always a space (hence my £70 parking...

10/10 Excellent

"A spacious cottage, easily accommodating up to 6 guests. Great modern kitchen & excellent WiFi & modern separate washer & dryer. Lovely views from lounge & bedrooms. Great to have two car, concreted car parking. Great location to access town & also North & South Beaches. Communication from the hosts was excellent & very timely & supportive. Overall we had a fantastic stay & will highly recommend this cottage to our friends & family both in UK & Australia."

Stylish Cottage, central location with harbour view and double parking

10/10 Excellent

5 Bedroom House Walking distance to Beaches & Ferry to Salcombe

8/10 Good

"A large property in a beautiful location with enough bedroom space for 9 people with smaller family members in the bunk bed. Anybody with physical disabilities will find the many steps down to the beach difficult but perfect for a family with teenagers. Pros - The views are sensational and it is in a quiet, peaceful area. A fantastic garden with lots of space for dining, games and sunbathing (although no sun loungers) and good ability to keep on top of washing in utility room. Very short distance to the local beautiful beaches. A good beach cafe, farm shop and cafe and toilets close by. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking implements, we were glad we bought a huge saucepan to be able to cook for 9. A large fridge freezer was also very welcome. The kids loved the quirky layout of the house. This was a good family holiday with lots of beach fun with doggy in tow. Would highly recommend a trip to the pebble beach in Beesands and a meal at the cricket Inn. No smart TV was actually a good thing here and kept teenagers off devices.Cons - The property wasn’t particularly clean on arrival, dirty mugs under bed, a large amount of cobwebs and floors with lots of sand on. There were not enough instructions for appliances e.g. downstairs shower (has a booster in the kitchen cupboard) and the induction hob had to be googled. There were a few things that were not working quite correctly, the dishwasher doesn’t sit properly within the kitchen unit, the cooker door is unreliable an"

2 North Crest House

10/10 Excellent

"The house in Salcombe was beautiful and had everything we needed and a bit more! Beds were so comfortable. The views were incredible from every window in the house. Perfect location for visiting the town which is short walk away and also going out of town to visit other places. A truly gorgeous scenic area."
