Nice quiet location, with a really friendly greeting on arrival. Room was big and fairly comfortable, although the bed was not the best. The room was quiet with no constant banging of doors, as normally experienced in most hotels. The hotel seemed to focus on the hiking community and was very dog friendly. Menu was limited and the food average. A complimentary cream tea was a nice touch served in a pleasent sitting area with sea views. The resteraunt area was nice, although the dogs barking did take some getting use to when you wanted a quiet meal. During our stay there were a few families with small children, who all seemed to be enjoying the enviroment and cove. If you want a short break in a fairly isolated area and love walking or have dogs, this is ideal. We had a two night stay, which was pleasant, but probably enough for us.
