Good Good for less than 3 days stay The best was the bar waitress as he made amazing cocktails and sangria, he was helpful and happy to help us, he recommended cocktails and were delicious, he also gave us extra ice as my partner had a leg injury, he was the part of the hotel. One of the waitress Tamara was extremelly rude, as we arrived 15 minutes before closing the lunch time and she was so rude, we understood after as she wanted to eat. Location was okay. Bad The life guard did not allow us to play music in the pool area The pool close at 7pm not acceptable in the summer. Boring hotel, dont have entertaining or music, only one show ocassionally twice a week The food was repetitive and they dont serve rice, most of the food was plain and boring, lack of spanish dishes you have to paid for the drinks The double bed was so small, and they dont have tea or coffe in the room TV WAS SO SMALL i cannot believe they provide such a small thing considering they are 4 start hotel, Late check out is not allow I wont return.

We have stayed in this hotel many times over the last 10 years - twice this year alone. It's in a much quieter part of Salou - there are some nice bars and restaurants within a 10 minute walk. The beach and harbour are about 10 minutes away. Large pool with plenty of sun loungers. Bedrooms are a bit dated, but comfortable and clean.

It was pleasant enough.I wouldn't say it was 4 star. Just think the food in the restaurant could be more adventurous.Was a bit samey all the time.Also the restaurant staff need to be more friendly.Certainly the waiting staff.Mohammad ,one of the managers was very friendly.

Nice hotel
Beautiful hotel lovely area. Could have had tea and coffee facilities in room. Also more English channels on tv only English speaking channel was Bbc world news. Snacks would be nice by the pool area. Or available in the bar. Breakfast very rushed and felt waiting staff could bot wait for you to finish. Very slow check in.

Cheap hotel that doesn't match its grand facade
Check-in was pleasant, although it did seem to take longer than it ought. On one occasion my used towels were taken and not replaced - when i queried with reception new ones were in my room when i returned later, although they were just dumped on the closed bidet. The same day I noticed that my TV remote had been moved/taken by cleaners (presumably by mistake), however when I told the reception and asked for a replacement, one could not be found (and was not replaced for the remainder of my stay). The food was probably the most disappointing aspect of the hotel - poor selection and poorer quality - who goes to Spain and expects pizza/chicken nuggets and chips? Based on the pictures, especially of the grand glass facade, I expected the hotel to be of much higher quality. I would not stay here again - overall disappointed.

Average amenities, clean and good location
The hotel was in a good location for the train station (less than 5 mins) and the beach and main street of shops in salou. The area is quite by this hotel due to being slightly out of the main street but this is great as takes about 10mins max to get to the beach whilst walking past shops and restaurants and you have a peaceful night without club music like in some hotels. The room was clean and basic the maids where very good and kept everything spotless. The food had very little options and was mainly fish all the time (even a fish lasagne was made) but was topped up regularly and different options each night. The spa is very small there was only me and my partner plus 2 families (2 adults 2 kids each) and it was full! It's €4 to go the spa for half a day and €6 for the full day just a Jacuzzi, steam room and small pool. Was raining so never used outside pool so can't comment, but looked well looked after and was cleaned daily. Entertainment was nil and staff didn't speak much at all, on arrival we never got told any information about meals or checking out was just handed a room card and a piece of paper with times on. Reception didn't offer any local information unlike the last time we went the previous hotel we stayed in had salou maps and were very helpful. You also have to pay for WiFi and it's very expensive you pay per hour. Overall it's a nice looking hotel and for the money worth it.

Hotel was clean and tidy staff helpful food was the only let down, but to be fair they do need to cater for all sorts of people and that is hard. There was always plenty of choice. The hotel is not far from the train station so easy to get to Barcelona, but it's a good distance to the lively part of Salou. Would stay there again

Llegue muy temprano y asta las 12 no me dieron la habitación después a la salida a las 10 se tenia que dejar demasiado pronto, la comida de buena calidad pero algo justa en variedad los colchones de los adultos no valían nada y el de la niña papel de fumar nada cómodos ninguno las almohadas demasiado pequeñas casi parecían inexistentes la animación cero nada para los niños ni adultos el cantante demasiado mayor musica para mayores nada para gente joven no a estado nada bien para nuestro gusto

Bel hôtel, très bien situé, et trés propre. Personnel gentil, agréable et à l'écoute. Le ménage est fait tous les jours, serviettes changées tous les jours. Nourriture correcte. Trés bien dans l'ensemble ! J'y retournerai avec plaisir Je recommande fortement le California Palace ! Bon rapport qualité prix.

Mauvaise climatisation dans la chambre - salle de sport et jaccuzzi payant ce qui est incompréhensible pour un hôtel 4 étoiles ce d'autant plus que les équipements de la salle de sport sont deja bien usages et qu'il n'y a par ailleurs aucune climatisation dans la salle qui se trouve en sous sol sans fenêtre ni air. L'hotel est en revanche bien situé et les repas sont très variés et bons.

RAS tout est pareil. Séjour en famille, supers animations et animateurs pour enfant et adulte. Dommage que nous ne puissions pas prolongé. Proche plage avec diverses activités.

No es un 4 estrellas, como mucho un 3 estrellas y gracias... El personal parece sacado de un casting de La que se Avecina. Cuando llegué, la recepcionista parecía borracha o flirteaba conmigo (no estoy seguro) y me hizo sentir muy incómodo. Hay que pagar por todo, incluido el gimnasio y el spa que en la web se ofrecen como servicios incluidos (qué cutres!!!). Las camas son bastante incómodas, habitaciones que necesitan una renovación ya... Lo mejor la limpieza y las señoras que limpian que son muy amables.

Points positifs: -Bel hôtel, pas trop mal placé, bien équipé dans l'ensemble, -Jolie chambre avec terrasse -Stationnement facile (en octobre) mais souvent payant! -Prix du bar et consommation Points négatifs : -Wifi payante et hors de prix -Chaînes télévision -Chambre et Sdb très mal isolée! -Nourriture (matin,midi,soir) vraiment vraiment pas bon....sans être difficile! -Tourisme moyen, bref c'est une station balnéaire, en octobre c'est une fin de saison c'est normal. Je comprends pourquoi le séjour n'était pas cher.

Excellent accueil, chambre familiale correcte pour 4 personnes, le canapé lit est un peu juste. Les draps que nous avions eu étaient usagés (boulettes) et donc désagréables au toucher. Pour 3 nuits c'est supportable. Les buffets sont frais et variés; le personnel prévenant. Dommage que les horaires d'ouverture du SPA ne soit pas plus large fermeture à 19h. Une fermeture à 22h serait bienvenue. Cela permettrait d'en profiter après une journée de ballade. Superbe piscine très très propre et jardin magnifique.

Sehr nettes Hotel in Strandnähe
Super Frühstücksbuffett! Optimale Lage und nettes Unterhaltungsprogramm. Leider macht die Hotelinterne Bar etwas früh zu. Die Zimmer waren recht sauber und die Betten sehr bequem! Die Fenster sind gut isoliert, man hört nur wenig von außen.

Tres bon hotel. Personnel souriant et avenant. Des animations tous les jours matin et soirs. Buffet de bonne qualité et a volonté. Petit bemol l eau est payante. Sinon on s est vraiment regalé ns etions en demi pension et on avait juste a informé le chef pour lui dire quand est ce qu on venait manger le lendemain.Pas besoin de prendre la voiture tout est a coté resto magasin bar...la plage est a 7min a pieds. Le parking est payant mais pas les 2rues a cotes. Le jaccuzy spa hammam est payant mais c est vraiment pas cher. La piscine exterieur gratuite et tres grande avec transat.L hotel est propre y a rien a dire c etait genial a refaire dans quelque annees
