"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! This place is one of a kind with glass dome windows in half of our large suite. There are only two of us, but the place can accommodate at least 6. We saw Northern Lights on our last night there and it was an unforgettable sight for a lifetime. The meals were also delicious, coupled with a variety of activities within the resort, such as snowmobiling, reindeer ride, visiting Santa's home etc. We can't wait to go back again soon! "

"Rooms were kept too hot, even with the window open our whole stay. Lights were on in the carpark all night which reflected into our room. I requested a high floor, north facing room on booking, but was given a ground floor room on arrival. No rooms in this hotel face north which I wasn't made aware of until check-in, despite my emailing about it. On questioning the ground floor room, I was told I had to pay €30/night extra for a higher floor room, which was never mentioned in previous...

"Absolutely amazing experience, all-around. The lodging, the food, the activities, the staff, the views, etc."

"We stayed for two nights at one of the chalets. It was very roomy, although we found functional areas were lacking, more specifically, there was no counter space or mirror by the shower sink which made it difficult for basic use and the lack of caddies to place our belongings. Towel hooks weren’t the greatest and they kept falling off. The sink in the bathroom was extremely small, even just for handwashing and everything kept getting splashed. The breakfast was good but it did get quite busy....

"We stayed at Giellajohka for 6 days and wished we had longer. It was magic. The river cabins are cozy, warm and have a substantial kitchen. We enjoyed the in cabin sauna and the beautiful floor to ceiling window meant we enjoyed the aurora from our bed while having a cup of tea early in the morning.
