"The Torre De Pancole villa is really quite amazing. The historic nature of the building and the property, the way in which it has been modernized, the setting, the pool, Sheri our local host, everything was all top notch.Booking the property was straightforward with good overview info provider by the host up front. House and location are gorgeous. You're in another world on top of a hill looking out over rolling Tuscan hills. Modern, well stocked kitchen as well as nice modern bathrooms. Onsite washer and dryer were a bonus and put to good use. We ate every "at home" meal on the covered patio, which was great. We thought the gorgeous pool was going to be closed for the season, but it was open which was a nice surprise since we had a few days in the mid 80s during our stay. As with many accommodations you look at online, the pictures cannot do the villa justice. Everything is much bigger than it looks in the pics, which was great for us after being in a tiny Venice apartment for the first part of our stay. Our local host, Sheri, was great to deal with. She met us at the property when we checked in, was great providing helpful local info when needed, etc. We also used the local chef, Monica, recommended by the villa host and she fixed us a lovely 5 course meal one evening. If you're looking for a special place to stay in Tuscany, this one should be at the top of the list. It is fairly remote and requires some careful driving on gravel roads, but it's worth it."

"Borgo Argiano is a beautiful property, very well run by Dario and staff. We highly recommend staying there if you are interested in exploring the Tuscan region. The apartments are large and they stock the kitchen for convenience It is also a winery and you could get a tour was well as a tasting of the delicious wines."

"Our stay was lovely! Wish we could have stayed for so much longer! We loved the enchanting walk to the the small medieval town of San Gums through vineyard and olive grows and cypress trees! Absolutely stunning scenery. The location of the villa was perfect for visiting all the towns in the region. The villa itself was fantastic! We cooked most nights and had everything we needed. The Villa as spacious, clean, and very comfortable. We felt right at home. The pool was beautiful and exactly as pictured. We were 3 adults so we had tons of space. Could not have asked for a better experience! Highly Highly highly recommend!"

"My husband and I stayed for a week with our college age daughter. This is one of the most delightful places we have ever stayed. Casa delle Rondini was magical. We woke every morning to the spectacular view of the vineyards, and had breakfast in the lovely garden. We watched the sun set at night over the vines and hills. It was very easy to get to all the places we wanted to see, including Florence. We actually found Florence a bit overwhelming, crowded and noisy. We had a much more enjoyable time in Siena (close to the villa) and the many small towns we visited (easy day trips to Montepulciano, Pienza and even got to Spello and Assisi as well as the coast.) There are many good restaurants close to the house (highly recommend L'Asinello for the gorgeous tasting menu). Returning home several evenings and taking a walk was the highlight of our day. We felt like we had an entire vineyard to ourselves! I would love to return here some day, and maybe spend more time just sitting in the garden, soaking in the beauty and the peace of this wonderful property! Barbara, the property manager, was very helpful with directions and information about the villa and the area, and she was very accommodating with our check in and check out. The villa is very comfortable inside with a well stocked kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and a cozy living room/dining room area. The pool is also lovely!Thank you Susan and Steven for such a wonderful experience!"

"Our family of five stayed here for a week. It was a great place to come back to after day trips to Sienna, Florence, Pisa, Volterra, etc. Super quiet and relaxing. It’s a little bit out of the way, but the extra driving was worth it to us. "
