"The Torre De Pancole villa is really quite amazing. The historic nature of the building and the property, the way in which it has been modernized, the setting, the pool, Sheri our local host, everything was all top notch.Booking the property was straightforward with good overview info provider by the host up front. House and location are gorgeous. You're in another world on top of a hill looking out over rolling Tuscan hills. Modern, well stocked kitchen as well as nice modern bathrooms. Onsite washer and dryer were a bonus and put to good use. We ate every "at home" meal on the covered patio, which was great. We thought the gorgeous pool was going to be closed for the season, but it was open which was a nice surprise since we had a few days in the mid 80s during our stay. As with many accommodations you look at online, the pictures cannot do the villa justice. Everything is much bigger than it looks in the pics, which was great for us after being in a tiny Venice apartment for the first part of our stay. Our local host, Sheri, was great to deal with. She met us at the property when we checked in, was great providing helpful local info when needed, etc. We also used the local chef, Monica, recommended by the villa host and she fixed us a lovely 5 course meal one evening. If you're looking for a special place to stay in Tuscany, this one should be at the top of the list. It is fairly remote and requires some careful driving on gravel roads, but it's worth it."

"Overall great. It was a bit colder when we went. I wish they put heat lamps in outside seating areas in the evenings. I did ask and they put one but it needed time to heat up. But other than that - amazing stay! "

"Lovely property with a nice kitchen and good indoor communal spaces. The outdoor spaces were beautiful, but use was limited by the intensity of mosquitos in the area (not the host’s fault, obviously)."

"Lovely relaxation options and wonderful restaurant attached to the property! Great for a stay where you are travelling through Tuscany by car! Do not recommend travelling by public transport or taxi as it is very expensive."

" For a true Tuscan experience, this location is perfect. You can find your own private spot within the stunning garden, surrounded by rolling, vine-covered hills and lines of cypress trees. There's also a great pool for relaxing. If you want to avoid the tourist crowds of bigger towns, this is the ideal retreat. You'll find plenty of lovely villages and great restaurants within a short drive. We're so thankful to Gina and Bianca for their wonderful hospitality."

"Surprisingly, in a negative way, our rooms were 4 km away from where we actually booked. There was zero information of this on the booking site. We have stayed at this property before and had rooms on the farm itself. (After all it is promoted as an Agriturismo). So to check in or to use the laundry, or to use the pool we had to make a 8km round trip. Very disappointing and clearly NOT what we booked. We also had to cancel our special dinner booked on site. "

"The apartment was absolutely fantastic—spacious, comfortable, and perfect for our family with older teens. The welcome basket was a lovely touch and much appreciated. The location, however, was more remote than we had anticipated. With hindsight, it may have been better to stay somewhere with more nearby options for teenagers to explore on foot. Do be aware that the drive up to the apartment involves some steep hills, so a car with enough power is definitely needed."
