"We booked this last - minute and were really impressed with the whole experience. The property and grounds are beautiful. Staff was so friendly and helpful. The rooms were well appointed and quiet. Beds were too firm for our liking, but it was easy to overlook as the entire stay was really great. Good options in the restaurant too. The block of hotel rooms is in a retirement resort, which I think is a wonderful idea! Very much enjoyed our stay. We had a car and parking was free."

"Villa Cucule was a perfect base for our 5-night stay in Tuscany. Conveniently located for day trips to Siena and many Tuscan villages/towns all within 1-1/2hrs radius. Beautiful cypress-lined drive to welcome us back at the end of a day with sunset views while having a glass of wine. Fully equipped kitchen, clean and comfortable villa suitable for families and/or friends.Lavinia was very helpful with lots of local recommendations. Would also recommend a fun evening with Robin for the in-Villa cooking class. He spoke great English, was informative, inclusive for hands-on participation culminating with 3 excellent pastas and sauces to eat for our dinner.Overall a great time to sample Tuscany and would highly recommend and come back."

"The property was very well kept. Hamza, in particular was very helpful in guiding us to best options for parking and touring in Florence. Very relaxing atmosphere. Unfortunately the restaurant was not open during our day so we did not get to experience that. Apparently it was a staffing issue. Breakfasts were very nice, and outdoors in a nice setting. If we were going back to the Tuscany area, we would definitely stay there again."

"A spacy and clean studio house that combines the atmosphere of Tuscany very well with modern amenities without being too modern. The owners have preserved many of the old elements of the building - old wooden doors and beams, stone walls and a clay tub on the kitchen sink. with a beautiful view from the terrace in front of the entrance. In the evening the breeze cools you while listening to the song of the crickets. In the morning you can drink your coffee watching the swallows darting over the beautiful landscape while the bleating of sheep echoes the valley. Although it is not in Siena, it is a very convenient location for tourists with a car. You do not worry about parking at night, but you are in nature, away from the crowds filling the streets of Siena. At a pretty decent price in our opinion - a family with 2 children. We used it as a starting point for day trips to Siena, San Gimignano, the picturesque towns of Orchia-San Quirico, Pienza and Montepulciano. This place made our trip to Tuscany be what we imagined while planning it."
