Expectations exceeded!

This place exceeded my expectations! Booked this hotel to stay after my business trip was over, and was looking for a place that wasn’t too extravagant so I wouldn’t be tempted to stay in the room, and go out in the city. It was honestly a very comfortable place, and secure. Highly recommend!

Location is fairly easy access if you are ok with walking a little. One block away from Union square, where tour buses depart. This is a rental without service (nobody comes in daily to make your bed and tidy your room, although they can do it if requested by phone) Check-in is done via the Stratford Hotel on the adjacent street. There is a box at the Bartlett to drop your key at check-out.

Room looks like pics. No AC but has a ceiling fan. No coffee pot, cups, or microwave but has a mini fridge. No wash cloths or hand towels. Keyed entry through all doors and elevator access. Spacious clean room though I could feel the springs in the bed. Overall nice weekend place to stay in the heart of Union Square

The hotel room was actually nice. Clean, simple, modern. There was no one at the front desk that i saw during my 2.5 day stay. Instead, there was a sign directing you to another hotel across the street where you would go to check in. It was a little inconvenient to not know that ahead of time, but overall it was fine.

Great hotel at a great price right in the heart of the city. Ross, Target, Traderjoes and the bart all just a short walk away. Perfect for people on an extended stay. The beef stew at The king of Thai noodle restaurant is outstanding.

Customer care needs to be imporved.The room was good.The hallway leading to room was scary. The carpet needs to be replaced. Checkin was a bit painful as the cleaning lady at Bartlett said the check was on the other side(she could not speak english) so walked all the way across to the other side and came back and then realized there is a small sign which says check is it at a different hotel. The staff at checkin and checkout is absolutely not interested in talking to their guest. The way they responded to questions was a scene to watch, as if someone has put a ton of weight on their heads.

This location was very noisy but that didn’t bother me. Honestly for the price and location I thought it was a decent deal. Only big downside for me was no fridge in room. I need to keep my meds cold and didn’t realize no mini fridge. Otherwise would recommend for short stays or budget people. Just don’t expect the ritz and bring ear plugs if a light sleeper.

Clean. Nice style. Great value and location. The shared bathrooms are in good shape. Rooms facing the road can be pretty noisy. Don't expect to be hanging out in the rooms much, but a nice enough place to sleep.

It was a good hotel, located in a really convenient place for my trip. The only downside I had was that there was hair in the bed. But they moved me to a different room and it was great besides that. Comfy beds, secure, cheap.
