The location is good, but carpet smell bad in the hallway and inside the room, kept window open to reduce the smell.

I think the room was fine but the thermostat and hanger in the closet didn’t work (couldn’t use the closet at all). Also, I felt this hotel is unsafe (elevators don’t require room keys to get to rooms, something that I think it’s unacceptable in a city like SFO). Last, it doesn’t have a gym.
This was billed as a four star hotel when it is actually between two and three if i'm being generous. The staff was accommodating but the area was slummy, there was a tiny tv, things were falling apart and it was a very poor hotel altogether. Would not recommend under any circumstances.
This property was very charming. Not the newest freshest place but decently well kept. It provided everything I needed and had no problems during my stay. I arrived earlier than the check-in time but they had a room available so they gave me a room without charging early check-in fee, I thought that was very nice of them. The area where they are located can be a bit of a mix. Being SF you will find a few sketchy characters and homelessness but there seems to be extra security guards in place. Nevertheless, it is a very convenient and walkable area.
