San Giovanni Hotel Guide - Family Friendly Hotels in San Giovanni, Rome

"Great place if you are into monastery setting. Staff welcoming and cordial. They were kind enough to switched us from an small/dark upstairs room to a friendly, bigger room in the center of the hotel. I really appreciated that. Continental breakfast is included. Not much to do near by so we had to go to another part of town almost every day. The only thing I didn’t like was the type of tv show played in the breakfast area, considering this is a part of a church they should be playing different show/ music church/ Christ appropriate. "

"It was great to find out there was a street full of cafes just behind the hotel. Staff were great all around and the room was ver spacious for a good price. Only downside is that is a bit far from the main sites you will want to visit but the bus stop is just across the street from the hotel."

"We had the suite and the room was absolutely gorgeous! The Wi-Fi barely worked at all which was a little frustrating since we traveled from America and didn’t have cell service, but it was fine. The website also states it has laundry facilities, which is misleading because it does not nor so they actually provide laundry service. They outsource dry-cleaning but don’t advertise that in the fine print. It hard to get around in the area and the public transportation were all on strike so prepare extra money for Ubers and taxis because they are not cheap. But there are a lot of restarting in the area and a nice grocery store near by! However no microwave in the room. "
