"Absolutely beautiful home! Would definitely book again. Our stay coincided with historic flooding in the area. The homeowner was very helpful with our questions and ensuring we felt safe. Kids loved the trampoline and adults enjoyed coffee and a view on the front porch! Fall colors were so pretty! Beds were very comfy. Easy access to downtown Durango and surrounding activities. "

"I know it’s not always helpful to say a place is perfect, but the cabin was perfect. The host was a great communicator. The cabin was spotless and very well equipped. 10 minutes from town, an easy drive. A couple of minutes from great burgers at James Ranch. Hope it was ok to eat the apples on the tree just outside the front door because we had several!The cabin is rustic on the outside and quite modern inside. Minimal tchotchkes but lots of electrical outlets and good WiFi. One of the nicest places we’ve found on VRBO. Highly recommended. "

"Property was remarkably clean and the kitchen was well-stocked. Plenty of blankets for the cool nights and for outdoor sitting. Bathrooms were well stocked with everything all essentials. "We stayed at this beautiful property in Durango, Colorado, to celebrate my 50th year, and it was absolutely perfect! The house and surrounding land were stunning — the water streams, ponds, and river created such a peaceful and happy atmosphere. It was the ideal setting to relax, reflect, and celebrate with loved ones.If there’s anything that could make this wonderful stay even better, it would be to include a Keurig coffee maker, provide some wood for the fire pit, and make sure the propane tanks for the outdoor fire stand and grill are full upon arrival.Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful and serene place to spend this special milestone. The kitchen was beautifully equipped with very nice pots, pans, dishes and silverware. Very nice, clean appliances. The neighborhood is gorgeous as is the town of Durango.
