"Excellent location. Room was exactly as advertised. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was gorgeous. Some of the furniture did need some touch ups as it looked old and worn. Food was excellent and the bar area was sublime. Bartender was excellent and the restaurant staff was very attentive. Only feedback is that the staff at the gift shop wasn't very friendly. Didn't say hi and didn't acknowledge us. Lobby staff was very friendly at check in but not so much at check out. Will definitely check out other rooms next time we're in SLO."

"We came to celebrate my husband’s birthday and instantly fell in love with this campsite—we didn't want to leave after just two days! The experience was incredibly peaceful and restorative, offering stunning views of the bay covered in gorgeous ocean fog, set to the sound of birds singing. The facilities were top-notch: the bathrooms and showers are clean, and we appreciated the free morning coffee. We highly recommend renting the propane gas fireplace for $35; it was absolutely worth it and cozy, though we regret not renting it the first night! A note for future visitors: it can get quite cold at night, so bring warm layers. We stayed in a solar-operated Jute, and while the power dipped temporarily, a generator is available. Despite the chill, this is a beautiful spot just minutes from town. We will absolutely be back!"
