"The most amazing view. We spent a lot of time just at the hotel because of the gorgeous view. You can also use the kayaks free of charge. Very close to the boat deck and very kind and helpful staff. Very nice breakfast was also included with our reservation. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant which was delicious"

"A stunning property with amazing views. It is nestled into the side of the mountain and designed to make the most of the lake views. There is lots of attention to detail. My room was beautiful and very comfortable. The bathroom and shower were great, which also had a lake view! It was nice to have the Guatemalan breakfast included in my rate. There isn’t anywhere else that’s walkable. All the staff were lovely and made every effort to ensure I had the best stay. I used the hotel’s recommended Tuk Tuk driver (Lino) to go into Panajachel for dinner. I also did a tour to Santa Catarina and San Antonio with him, which I would recommend."

"The hotel is located on the lake, well maintained property with friendly staff. CAUTIOn; The rooms had mobile air conditioning units that were noisy; there was very loud music/ karaoke on weeknight that very annoyiny& disturbing. I do not recommend to get their promotional breakfast - you can easily get better tasting food with a wider variety within walking distance of the hotel. Rooms do not have safe on 1-4 floors?!"

"This property was not at all where Expedia said it was. I ended up getting a message on WhatsApp and had to follow a video to get to the property. It was in a small alley and no directions. Had to use context clues to find a restaurant that was in the video and follow from there. We were waiting by the door for a while because someone had to come unlock it for us. I booked the top room and got the room under it. The top room was taken. I ended up becoming extremely disappointed with this because there were no windows where the shower was which connected to the bedroom, so at night there was music playing until around 11:30 so loud that my partner and I (laying on the bed next to eachother) couldn’t even hear eachother over it. Especially after us doing acatenango and fuego we booked this place for rest and to try to sleep over that was awful. Literally on a Wednesday and Thursday. Not to mention once the music stopped, stray dogs were barking like crazy and roosters going for majority of the night, then birds chirping and throwing themselves at the windows during sunrise. This would have been less of an issue if we got the room on the top floor that I booked since it had windows all around the bedroom and a door to take you to the outside bathroom. Also, the shower water was extremely cold (apparently it is solar) and the idea of an open shower is great but you can’t take one after 7am because there are men working on a building next door that can see everything..."
