"The property is an old nunnery and the rooms are compact and the doors are loud when people leave in the morning. The beds and pillows are super hard. At least the rooms are air conditioned. It is 2 miles away from the historic, old city that is worth driving to and walking around. This area of the hotel is not worth exploring by foot. However, the breakfast was included in the room rate and was a 9 out of 10 served outside at the outdoor pavilion near the pool. We did not have dinner on site as the Oceanside restaurant was fully booked, which was disappointing. Overall, nice property. The large pool is worth some time to sit and relax.. Some walking required from car park to your room over gravel and uneven surfaces. To me, it’s not a $300 a night property but if you can get it for less, it is a decent price-value."

"Overwhelmed by the villa on arrival. Incredible location with amazing views. Villa exceeded expectations, downstairs reception rooms where large and tastefully decorated. Kitchen was a pleasure to cook in, very well equipped. Additional laundry room was vey handy and we used this frequently through our stay. The shaded eating area off the kitchen offered welcome relief from the midday sun and we enjoyed the additional terrace seating in the early evening .Small but adequate supermarket in Itri with larger one in Gaeta nearby. We enjoyed several excellent restaurants in Gaeta and Sperlonga and Bazzano beach was our favourite with easy parking. would recommend. Host sent plenty of useful info both prior to and during our visit."

"Wonderful stay with peaceful private beach. The beach was perfect- refreshing and clear water and soft clean sand. Easy and lovely. We would recommend The Summit to any friends looking for a beach stay without the chaos of the public beach. We went with our two older kids and they also had a fantastic time on the beach."

"Pase 2 días maravillosos en este hotel, la ubicación es espectacular frente a la playa, las villas no son muy modernas pero son cómodas, el personal del restaurante el Sr Vincenzo fue lo máximo! Volveremos sin duda"

"Room was older. Could have used a refresher. Was sold as a junior suite but was just 2 large room with a sleeper arm chair. Mini fridge did not cool. Breakfast was very industrial!"
