The Beach at Bude

"Lovely location…breakfast was very nice with good options ..we booked The Beach but were given a room at The Edge. Which is one building away…walked over for breakfast. The room was honestly so small…we had a couple of cabin bags and there wasn’t any floor space for them…no where to sit…nowhere to put anything in the bathroom…shampoo was on the floor of the shower as no shelves…felt claustrophobic in the room with a view over Sainsbury’s car park. No sound proofing …we could hear bathrooms all around. There is parking but it is tricky and we needed to pay to park at the beginning of our stay…It’s a premium price to stay here and just felt really disappointed as had been recommended by friends. Tried to take a photo to demonstrate but difficult to do in such a small space."

"The Beach shack is perfectly located with views across the bay. Ideal for couples for a relaxing weekend or week. Sandymouth resort is clean, well equipped, good pricing for food and drinks. The resort is located within in easy reach of Bude, Clovelly and Tintagel. All staff are welcoming and friendly! Sarah on reception in particular was excellent and very helpful. Overall, considering it was a last minute booking ,on our behalf, we found a real gem and would return. Only downside, we should of booked longer!!"
